BAKE WITH ME : LET’S MAKE CHESS PIE 🥧 || Sarah Darling

When life gives you lemons, make a chess pie! This is my latest episode of baking live featuring an Edna Lewis recipe. She inspired generations of Southern cooks to honor their own roots. Growing up in Iowa, I wasn’t exposed much to Southern cooking until I moved to Nashville. What I learned most about diving into her recipes this week is everyone has a story. The backstory is important, and there comes a new appreciation. Also, do t be afraid to try new things. Food is art, science, and there’s a lot of love behind it all. I know this as a musician who loves to cook! ❤️
