Hello my lovelies! I have been focusing on breakfast foods and one that comes to mind are waffles. I can’t get the image out of my head of Leslie Knope declaring it being the greatest of breakfast foods. Luckily I got myself a multifunctional grill that not only grill sandwiches but also can make waffles and of course waffles had to happen!

[Music]hello enemies and welcome back to mychannel I hope you all have been welland that you had a chance to enjoy yourfestivities as you know I decided tohave a little bit of a break and I havebeen gone for about three weeks now Ibelieve I really just needed you know tosettle down after all the spending timewith loved ones and regain my thoughtand get my inspiration back so yeah it’sbeen a while and I have missed all ofyou so so very much it’s great to beback I have to give myself some time tothink about what kind recipes I want tomake make Mac what I want to make ohyeah I’ve been thinking about what kindof recipes I want to make and this weekwe are focusing onwell basically breakfast food items andtoday I want to make waffles and not anykind of waffles I want to make Belgianwaffles I well as some of you might knowor perhaps spoken about itI just realized and my significant otherhe is from Belgium and I have spent sometime in Belgium’s and meets friends andfamily of his and of course I’ve hadthose damn waffles there this was beforeI turned vegan so now I want to make myversion of it but I want to make it avegan version so I can share it allshare it with all of you that sense cameout right either way as you know and mynormal setup is a bit different actuallywell it’s a new year so I kind of wantto do a little bit different I don’thave any ingredients on here but we willsee that in the segment when we have alittlegoing on so I’ll do that and I will havea voiceover happening as well I got someconstructive criticism from one of myyoutubers and I felt like it is a goodidea especially now seeing as I’ve gotmyself so new equipment which makes it awhole lot easier to do voiceovers with acleaner sound that I had before becauseyou might not have known I haven’tfilming everything on my mobile phone upuntil today and now we actually have avery lovely camera to film on as well asa better microphone so I can pick up thesounds hold up thereeither way I want to thank all of youand I hope that you have a happy newstart of the year and we will get on tomaking our Belgian waffles right nowhere are our ingredients we havegluten-free flour saltsugar baking soda mineral water[Music]add your mineral water into the flour aswell as some sugar and baking soda in aseparate bowl add your vegan width andgive it a nice whisk until it’s greatstiff peaks[Music]make sure that you whisk your flourmixture until it is all nice and smooththen add your whipped creamgradually folding it into the batter itdoes take a bit of elbow grease to getit all incorporated but just to be surejust add a little bit more every now andagain of the whipped cream and youshould get a very smooth beautifultexture and if you do have a little bitof an issue getting it smooth I willsuggest adding a little bit more ofmineral water and that should do theworks in the pot add your mixed berriesI am using raspberry and blueberry onmedium-high heat make sure that you adda bit of sugar and give it a stir everynow and again just until it’s all nicelyif you do want it a bit more firm youcan always add abit more tapioca but I opted to not dothat and simply add vanilla flour whenit starts looking a bit bubbly like thisyou’re getting to the right texture justtake it off so it can sit down in thewaffle iron I add a little bit of a coatof vegan butter just to make sure thathow this is just adding a bit more thanI currently am if you want them to dothis shape over the square ends upgetting a cute more rounded shape onceso there we have it we have made ourwaffles and they do look a little bitspecific I was kind of hoping yeah I waslooking like the square I would do a bitmore practice with that one it’s thiswaffle iron is I mean waffle iron sowe’ll see and I’m gonna do a disc firstjust to see how the batter came out tosee if I enjoy they don’t for everyoneneeded to mix it up a little bit I didhowever when I was mixing or trying tofold them cream into the batter I foundthat the batter was a little bit toofiction about putting a bit more mineralwater in there I’m whisking it up on itsown I did not have the footage of thatbecause I have a blogthey forgot that I let’s just you knowjust do that accidents to edit but Ididn’t so just letting you know I’mgoing to change that in the recipe soyou get the correct measurements I thinkI have about one deciliter extra I’m notsure what its that this is that abouthalf a cup I guess but yeah so I didthat and then folded the cream in somemore and it turned out greatso here we have our bubble and also havesome whipped cream as well as that berrycompote that we made it’s like as soonas it starts getting what she’ll it’sjust kind of thick and stuff more whichis how I like ithmm probably gonna shift some stuffaround this looks very nice presentationvoice but I am a very messy eater nojoke when I have us I don’t have to workin my new job they ordered a falafelsand which we’re really really nice bythe way but first thing I said was I’mgonna need a plate underneath thisbecause I’m gonna make a mess and then Iget myself plate and meet me up hisfirst bite I have a mess of my hands Ihaven’t managed to make one of thefalafels fall onto the plate up to thesethings I knew how I work but yeah it’sjust just time I like this so there nowwe have put on some vegan whipped creamas well as our very come onhello againmissing eater and guess that most thinglet’s just do itgravity rises entirely my own fault Idid try the waffle just on its own Imade like like I said I’ve made a couplesamples just to see if I was happy withthe texture normally I wouldn’t usemineral water in my waffle batter butAlistair is a research and I reallyenjoyed the Belgian waffles to have adifferent kind of crunch to them then Ifind that we have here in Sweden oursome more I’ll say moist and soft indifferent way and there’s nothing wrongwith that but I do prefer the Daltonwaffles that have a nice crunch to themthe thing you get that’s extremist withwhatever you put on top and I prefer tohave some some berries and whipped creambut it’s all up to you and then what youprefer[Music]so one fish finishes up excuse me I’mgoing to finish this off outside of mycamera Oh camera if it was and I do hopeyou guys trying us out need to do IHoldings make it down below if you wantto tag me in your ownership review makethis version I would love to see it I doand this helps inspire you to a coupleof breakfast items in your regular lifelike it doesn’t require a lot of energyto make this maybe put some of thebatter into the fridge so that I canmake a couple fresh ones for later andevening cause right now it’s quiteearning date making sure that I’mlearning early like said no sunlight andI prefer having the natural light comingin yeah I love wintertime but yeah it isnice with a bit more of our Sun it doesnot converse about the weather orwhatever passing by again a nice turnedout greatand I do hope you try them up and if youare
