Making Cookies with a Goofy Boy

I filmed this way before Christmas, but ya know how life gets in the way lmao. Anyway, enjoy Angel and I goofing off in the kitchen while attempting cookies ♡

Cookie Recipe and Directions:

2 1/2 C … Coconut flour
3 TBSP … Peanutbutter
4 Large … Eggs
2 1/4 C … Sweet Potato(or pumpkin)

1) Preheat oven to 350*
2) Combine all ingredients in large bowl.
3) Shape into cookies
4) Bake for:
-a) Glass/metal cookie sheet = 30mins
-b) Stoneware = 40mins
-c) Silicon tray = 20mins
5) Let cool
6) Enjoy ♡

*Keep them in the fridge to last longer

hello[Music][Music][Music]Oh welcome to my channel I’m Charlie andthis is my dog angel and today we’regonna make some dog treatsso mr. quality control just coming insay that I ended up having to I don’talter the recipe because it just listenturning out the way I wanted it to whichI mean the original recipe that I got Ihad already altered it but I actuallyended up having to add two more eggs andabout two more you want three quartercups so that’s like different I also hadto get a new bowl becausemy tiny itty-bitty Bowl when okay sothis is the recipewell lighting I’ll also put it in thedescription box since the actual recipeis from a website on my phone and I’musing my phone to record so I just havebulk peanut butter from my local co-opcoconut flourI know it’s enough for that sherbertsherbet container but then two largeeggs and my sweet potato that needs tobe like mashed because the originalrecipe is using pumpkin puree but thislittle monster hates pumpkin you dothough yeah I’m calling you outit doesn’t like pumpkin but he likessweet potatoes so it can’t be that muchdifferent so yeah I’m gonna bowl to allmix it in it is pumpkin puree this needsto be obviously cooked and cooked downso we’re gonna just fill up a pot withsome waterhaha hold on a magic all rightwe want it to hurry up so like that andI’m literally just gonna put it right inoh it doesn’t fit Oh tip always check tomake sure your sweet potato fits in thepot before you put it in alright sowe’re gonna let that cook for until it’sdone and[Music][Music]and yeah we’ll be right back is thatonce it starts boiling that’s when youstart setting your timer I’m just gonnago for 10 minutes check it[Music][Music]figure that whilst we are waiting forour sweet potato to cook down we can getsome of our other stuff together andlet’s see how I can do this with onehand yeah okay so this is veryprecariously placed on a lamp that Ihave so let’s hope I don’t mess stuff upto you and 1/2 cup you think I have thisstuff out and ready but noyeah it’s still not very cooked so we’regonna go for another ten it’s madwe’re going for another ten minutes hesilence potat so this has been cookingfor over thirty minutes and honestly I’mjust done but I mean it is pretty welldone so all right so yeah[Music]okay so this is what your dough shouldlook like now unlike human cookies thesearen’t going to be rolled out so they’lleither have to be like formed into alittle ball and then flattened like thator another thing I’m going to try whichI’m kind of excited about using thesesilicone trays like that be super cute Idon’t have any Christmas ones which I’mkind of bummed about but you know so I’mgonna try these and then we’ll trysomething like this and then I don’tmaybe I’ll get my cookie cutters outmaybe I can like kind of form it insidethe cookie cutter you know what I meanwe’ll see what happens yeah so I usestrong stoneware when making cookies andstuff but if you have glass or metalthat’s fine too just know that thecooking times are gonna vary cuz with astone it takes longer to cook then sayglass or metal I have my little doodleebob’s cookie cutters is the word I’mlooking for cookie cutters if I have acute little tree a little gingerbreadperson and then a star and of course alittle bone so we’re gonna kind of pressthe dough and then hopefully I’ll justslide right how you can make these asbig or as small as you want depending onhow they turn outwe might use them for training treats orso my brain has a lag so just becauseyou can’t roll it out doesn’t mean youcan’t press upbe very gentle with it since this doughtends to fall apart quite easily and youcan just[Music]ever so gentlyand that looks like a hundred timesneater than if you were to like push thedough in so I will do that before therest of them that takes way less timeand it’s way less stressso you just warm this back up into aballand do it all over againso finish cutting up the cookies andthey look and then also be sure topre-heat your oven to 350 degrees herethey are they are so cute these remindme of those cookies there mmm can’tremember what they’re called but they’revanilla I think they come in chocolateooh but they’re um just vanilla cookiesyou guys know what I’m talking aboutright look just like them and I love itthey’re so cute and then these are thecutout cookies some turned out betterthan others I find the key is to keepyour hands clean so when you’re rollingout the dough it’s gonna end up likesticking to your hands like really badand every I’d say every other time youroll out a new like cylinder to cut outI would suggest like rinsing your handsoff really really good and get thatexcess go off that way it’s not itdoesn’t keep sticking to your hands Ijust find it easier to do it that waythe same thing with the cookie cutterskeep them pretty rinsed off otherwiseespecially with the star especially withthe tree I had such a hard time gettingthe dough out of the very top and youcan see a lot of the trees are roundedon the top so but I did try thegingerbread person again their arms arejust too thin they just it breaks offway too easily like even way easier thanlike the top of the Christmas tree sothat was kind of a fail but if you havelike a gingerbread person that has likestockier arms or more like I don’t knowchubby looking I bet that would work alot easier so yeah I’m gonna pop thesein the oven the original time is 30minutes but again I believe I mentionedearlier that if you are using stonewhich I am the cook time is actually awhole lot longer about anywhere from 5to 15 minutes longer than therecommended time just because this stonehas to have time to heat up so if youare using glass or metal is 30 minutesand then check them to see if they’regolden brown so 30 minutes minimum andthen like rotate them every coupleminutes until they’re golden brown withthe stone where I’m gonna start at 40minutes and check them obviously thesilicone will be completely different aswell since it’s gonna take even lesstime I’m gonna pop these in the oven andlet’s see how it goes[Music]all right timer just went off smellsreally good okay hold I’m gonna checkthese out and I can’t do it was one handkind of see how they work so just havesome heart ones these are little starsand then the flower ones[Music][Music][Music][Music][Music]you thinkyeahyou thinksit good away[Music]good stuffoh my gosh prettythat’s cheating but I’ll give it to youa bull why good stuff yeah good stufflittle messy but I don’t think that’sgonna affect the taste they smelt reallygood like peanut butter and sweet potatobut it smells really really good thatarm really really hungry so one thing toknow is that with silicone trays youcan’t just put them into the oven you dohave to put them on a baking sheet ofsorts so I’m gonna put these in the ovenfor about 30 minutes and we’ll check onthemyou thinkthere’s a problem but there’s a there’sa there’s a crumb get ita lot of the cut-out ones are almostburnt on one side so it’s a little sadbut one is just breakbrick do you thinkhow do you always gotta spit it on thefloor before you eat it as long as it’snot like burnt like burntI’d take it back even if it’s burnt yourdog will probably like it him a cute boyyeahSeema cute boy[Music][Applause][Music][Music][Music]take these out edges are pretty goldenbrown I know you can’t see it because ofthe lighting but I’d say they’re prettymuch done they’re starting to come awayfrom the edge of the silicon as well soI’m gonna slip these off to the side andthe thing about silicon is when you wantto pop them out they have to becompletely cool before you do otherwiseit will crumble and that goes foranything being cooked in silicon so justgonna let those cool and then I will beback please are cool and I’m a littleworried that they’ll crumble just by howcracky they look on the back you seethat little concerned just just a littleSuperbad on the Stars but on the flowersand the hearts they look pretty butlet’s seeoh my gosh Lou they’re so cute we justpopped right out of thereoh my goodness those they’re so cuteI’ll make it they’re formed so nicelyoh my god
