hi everyone thanks so much for tuning into our Channel so today I’m gonna bemaking waffles and I make these wafflesout of almond flour which has become astaple in my houseI make it on the weekend and then wefreeze it and then everybody can justtake it out of the freezer pop it in thetoaster and they’re good to go for theday and the best thing is you don’t geta car crash while you’re in school or atwork because almond flour is verydifferent from like enriched flour orwhole wheat flour so stay tuned for myalmond flour waffle recipe so these areall the ingredients I’ll be using tomake the waffles but I forgot to add theHimalayan pink salt as well so I’madding 2 cups of almond flour 1tablespoon of baking powder 1/2 ateaspoon of salt 1/2 a teaspoon ofxanthan gum because almond flour isgluten free you need a binder to holdthe batter together and that’s why we’reusing Sansom gum I got mine as a bulkbar 4 tablespoons of oil and I’m usingavocado oil here but you can use the oilof your choice a dash of cinnamon I tryto ask flaxseed in as many recipes as Ican because it’s a great source ofhealthy fat antioxidants and fiber aswell as Omega 3 so I’ve added 1/2 atablespoon of flaxseed meal here 6 eggsand one cup of cashew milk now you canuse whatever milk you like and you mayneed to add a little bit more of themilk depending on the consistency thatyou get if you find that you do needmore than one cup just out of quarter ofa cup at a time so I’m putting my wafflemachine on medium heat and then I’mbrushing on some butter to make surethat the waffles don’t stick I have eachwaffle in for five minutes but dependingon your waffle machine you might need toincrease or decrease the time so thisbatter needs four full waffles and onethat’s about 3/4 of the size of the restso this will make nine servings for usonce the waffles are cooled I put themin a freezer bag and pop them in thefreezer the kids will use maple syrup onthese waffles but I prefer blueberriesso there you have it a nice gluten-freealternative and conventional waffles ifyou do try this recipe please let meknow how it turned out in a commentbelow until next time take care
