How to make banoffee pie | banana and toffee dessert | no bake no cook recipe | creamy dessert pie

A magical tri-layer confection with caramel sauce, bananas and cream with hints of nutella and lotus that will make your taste buds sing!

Between the soft, crunchy, creamy, gooey, and sweet– there’s no denying banoffee pie’s allure. You’ll be hooked! Classically delicious, banoffe pie combines digestive crust, sweet dulce de leche, slices of fresh bananas, and mountain of billowy whipped cream.

Ingredients
* 400g digestive biscuits, crushed
* 3/4 cup butter, melted
* 2 tbsp of Nutella, melted
* 1 can nestle condensed milk / caramelized condensed milk
* 1-2 bananas
* 1 pack heavy cream
* 1 can Nestle Cream – banana flavor
* Cocoa powder and dark chocolate shavings for dusting and garnish

Preparation
Using a food processor, crush the biscuits and then add the melted butter to form a sandy texture. Add the melted Nutella to the mixture, and mix well to combine.

Press the mixture into the base of your serving plate or cake-tin and refrigerate it until needed.

For the caramel or toffee part of the ‘banoffee’, use the store bought nestle caramel or alternatively place the condensed milk can in boiling water until fully submerged over high heat, and allow it to come to a boil.Keep checking on the cans, making sure they are still submerged in water. Add more water if needed. Allow then to cool once done

Pour the caramel over the biscuit base and spread evenly, then chill for another 30 minutes, or until firm.

In a bowl, add fresh cream banana flavor, 1 cup heavy cream and beat them all using a handheld mixer until combined.

Pour half of the cream layer on top of the caramel.Slice the bananas, and arrange over the cream base.

Pour the reserved banana cream layer on the bananas to avoid browning and refrigerate for another hour.

Sprinkle some lotus biscuits for added flavor.
Whip 1/4 cup of heavy cream and layer as the final layer.

Decorate with whipped cream. Dust with cocoa, garnish with chocolate shavings, decorate with additional bananas, and an extra drizzle of toffee or chocolate syrup.

Refrigerate until ready to serve.
