COOK WITH ME!! PIE THAT WILL BRING A TEAR TO YOUR EYE!! (EASY RECIPE!)

I hope you will give this easy pie recipe a try!
Tears on Your Pillow Pie
1/3 cup melted butter
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
1 TBS all purpose flour
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1 9 inch unbaked pie shell
In a large bowl beat together the butter, brown sugar, eggs, flour, and milk until well blended. Pour the filling into the pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Turn oven off and leave the pie for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

hey y’all welcome back to my channeltoday I’m going to share a new recipewith you guys and this is one that myhusband requested I have not made thisrecipe and probably gosh I’m looking atmy cookbook down here I haven’t made itin probably 25 years or so I don’t evenknow what made him think about it butanyway it’s super good and so I thoughtyou might be interested in trying to setyourselves it’s called tears on mypillow pile and a long long time ago Ipicked up this cookbook I think someonegave it to me for Christmas yes they didmy mom actually gave me this forChristmas and my grandfather it’s calledaunt bee’s Mayberry cook loose and sothat’s where this recipe comes from soI’m gonna get you started here and showyou how to throw it together and then Iwant you to try it and let me know whatyou think so now I’m going to getstarted throwing together theingredients for the tears on your pillowpie so it starts out with 1/3 a cup ofmelted butter and typically when I bakeI double the recipe but I did not haveenough light brown sugar to do two ofthese pies so it’s just gonna make oneand that’s what the recipe makes it justmakes one so you start out with 1/3 acup of melted butter and then to thatyou’re gonna add a cup and a half ofbrown sugar and I’m going to add I’mgoing to put the directions and theingredients the recipe in thedescription box below okay and then tothat we’re gonna add two eggs this is asuper easy pop not very many ingredientseasy to throw together I’m gonna addtwo eggs think we got a little bit ofshell in there okay and then that we aregoing to add some evaporated milk nowthis is not sweetened condensed milkthis is just evaporated milk and we’regoing to need a half a cup so let megrab my measuring cup another measuringcup I happen to have one of these smallcans leftover from when I was makingfudge so it’ll take almost all of asmall can so 1/2 a cup of evaporatedmilk and then we’re going to add to thata tablespoon of all-purpose flour getthat skipped outokay set all that to the side and thenwe’re going to stir this all together soto just recap all that it’s 1/3 cup ofbutter melted a cup and a half of brownsugar 2 eggs – thank youa tablespoon of all-purpose flour andhalf a cup of the evaporated milk and Ican’t and that’s all the ingredients andthen you’re just gonna mix all thistogether really well and then put it inyour pie crust and of course you canmake homemade pie crust if you wouldlike I did not this time I actually hadtwo pie crusts downstairs and thefreezer leftover from the holiday bakingthat I was doing and so I decided to usethem or do use one of them I was goingto do too until I realized that I had abrand new large package of dark brownsugar and I didn’t have enough lightbrown sugar these pies freeze reallyreally well so if you’re making this Iwould encourage you to double it and ifyour family isn’t large enough to eattwo pies at once I would just freeze oneof them they will probably keep forabout three months in the freezer youcan just pull it out when you want topop so just get it all mixed up tryingto get my lumps out of my brown sugarthere this pies for giving so you don’thave to worry about that I have my ovenset at 350 and this is going to bake for35 minutes and of course that is goingto depend on your oven temperature but Iwould leave it in the recipe says leaveit in for 35 minutes and then turn youroven off and let the pie sit in the ovenfor 45 minutes long so you might want toif you’ve never made it before I wouldfollow the exact directions the firstgo-around and see how that turns out sohere’s my prepared pie crust again youcan use homemadeand I’m just putting the filling in myoven is already preheated so it’s readyto go and it’s going to go in the ovenand then I’ll show you what the finishedproduct looks like and here’s thefinished product I baked it for 35minutes at 350 and then turn the ovenoff and I let it sit for one hour andthat’s the tears on my pillow pie let meknow in the comments if you decide totry it out and if you like it or not Ihope you enjoy it I will have all theingredients listed in the descriptionbelow and off and the directions as wellso the complete recipe will be therethanks a lot
