Ingredients
1/2 heaping cup chickpeas
1/4 cup sunflower seed butter
3 Tablespoons coconut palm sugar
1 1/2 Tablespoons agave nectar, honey (not plant-based)
1 teaspoon raw vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
Pinch of Salt
3 Tbsp Enjoy Life Mini Chocolate Chips (or more if you want more chocolate!)
Up to 10 large Bananas, Sliced into coins and frozen overnight (or use 1.5 bananas per serving)

today we’re going to be makingtop-secret chocolate chip cookie doughwith banana ice cream so just you knowexpand an ice cream and the cookie doughis going to be made out of chickpeaswhich it was a good name but in thebeginning doesn’t sound great but trustme it tastes great so I’m going we’regonna be using my blender for thisbecause the food processor is so big wedon’t think the trippi’s will hit theblade so first what I’m going to do ismake my cookie dough so I’m going to get1/2 cup of chickpeas and these are justout of a cannon rinsed and or you cansoak them overnight and it says aheaping half cup so that means 1/2 cupplus like more of a top and then I’mgoing to be adding right sunflower seedbutter and I’m airing forth a cup offish ok please yes I’ve got 4 2 cup issunflower seed butter thank you and canyou add like different seed butter ornut butters yeah ok so I’m adding someparsley butter because I’m allergic topeanut butter and cashews so anotherquick simpler system they use this todayand they realize that was 1/4 of a cupof sunflower seed butter ok so now I’mgoing to add some coconut palm sugar sothis is just a different type of sugaryeah those okay add 3 tablespoons thereso it’s like a healthier version ofregular sugar yeah hey chef check thegabbie can you slow down just a littlebit for us yepokay we’re putting the sugar in yeahokay so I’ll just wait oh cool aboutchickpeas is it can they can be used aswhip cream well the nerve Oklahoma whatoh okay so chickpeas from a can willhave like a liquid in them so if youusually will drain them so the water orthe liquid that comes out of thechickpea can is can be used to makewhipped cream and it can be used as anegg replacer and to make whipped creamyou can add sweetener and cream oftartar tartar yep and then whip it andit will become whipped cream and I’veactually tried it it doesn’t it’s justpretty good yeah it’s kind ofinteresting and then um you can use itas an egg replacer in case you don’thave eggs or you want to use somethingdifferent yeah so next I’m going to beadding some a gobbet so golly is likehoney but it’s like a plan not so I’mgoing to be adding one and a halftablespoons of agave yeah even peoplesyrup might work too yeah all of thosekind of go in the same I’ll just do halfof this oops just kind of eyeballing itokay so now I’m every good how’severybody doing let’s see adding theiragave now good honey looks goodeverybody okayand the next ingredient is vanillaextract okay goodso next I’m gonna be adding a teaspoonof ravenel extract this is just regularvanilla extract set is used to get avanilla flavor and some desserts so I’mgoing to add this so I need a 1 1teaspoon of vanilla extract and this isput into cookie dough or and likecookies to make it yeahvanilla tapes yeah you don’t want to addtoo much because there is um alcohol init you just just a little bit don’tworry and um it can curdle thankschocolate so in the class we tried tomake chocolate one time and they thoughtthe vanilla smells so good so they addeda ton of vanilla extract and it ruinedthe chocolate and it wasn’t good andthey had a restart completely and thenwhen added the right amount of chocolateor vanilla extract the chocolate tasteis good taste good okay so the nextingredient is cinnamon and I’m this isjust this is ground cinnamon let’s seewho everybody is all right this okay andI’m going to be adding half a teaspoonof cinnamon so good doesn’t it it’sreally good for our bones and bloodsugar yeah it smells greatI just got a copy all over here while Iwriterinse rinse really quick Terral okay sothe next ingredient is a pinch of saltso not really a measurement timeactually hands off I’m just gonna beadding a pinch of salt to give it mm-hmmso now that I’ve added my chickpeas mysunflower seed butter coconut palm sugaragave we now assume an insult I’m goingto blend it and it says in the recipe touse a food processor but there’s solittle amount of you ingredients that ifthe professor wasn’t wouldn’t reallywork so we’re gonna go on mute and thenblend this upyouso now I’m going to mix it around andthen blend it once more oh actually it’sactually pretty mornin okay that worksso I’m going to get it off the top hereOh once more it’s it definitely has alittle bit of from the chickies it hassome texture so we want it pretty smoothso I’ll go ahead and blend it againyoufeaturing okay so chef Gabi could youplease show us the consistency of whatit should look like yesand ours is still even a little bit I’mhere I’ll put it in here so I can showyou it’s pretty smooth but you’ll it’llbe like a little carry concern a littlebit there’s a little bit of texture inours cause we don’t have a high speedblender we need to get one yeah it’salmost like some parsley butter yeahwhich so it’s yeah if you have a highspeed blender it’ll make it a littlesmoother yeahit’s still gonna be delicious you wantto get it pretty yeah I love high speedblender movies okay right so I’m gonnatry get all of it out just putting it inmy bowl and not all of it will becompletely blended like I had half atrip in there but that’s okay yeah cuzit will still be good with the chocolatechips and the ice cream yes super labcat do you want a just okay oh yeah thatworks good are you just putting thatinto a bowl or both so you can mix inyour chocolate chips I’m going you’reprobably couldn’t make Senorthat’s right in there but what if you’reusing the same mixer you want to getyour Mickey your chickpea mixture out ifyou’re gonna use the same make sciencefor your bananas yepokay there we go so I’m just going toscrape off the edge here a little bitmessy okay is everyone good cuz next I’madding in secret ingredient chocolatechips so I’m gonna be adding in mychocolate chips now I’m gonna be usingthis super cool like rainbow woodmeasurement thing it’s it’s really coolyep oh now I’m going to be oh and I’musing um enjoy life which are semi-sweetand they’re natural again dairy freethis redness and then they’re minisbecause many they’re my favorite but youcan use any size I’m gonna add threetablespoons of my chocolate chips andI’m just gonna mix in all my chocolatechips the behind-the-scenes liquor okayso now that I’m finished with this I’mgoing to set this aside and put it inthe freezer for 15 minutes or untilwe’re done with the bananas and I likethis yeah hmm show them hmmand now you’re gonna get our bananas outfor banana ice creamum we’re not done with it we’re justmeasuring the chocolate chips right nowokay wait because we have to get ourfoodokay okay so um it says let’s see areyou guys Savannah is your are you guysstill working on yours is it in thefreezerexcuse me yeah you’re okay yeah yeah soyou used your bullet for the chicks andstuff like we did right yeah yeah is itnot coming out of the bullet no no it’sit’s coming out of that mic um you saidthe freezeram i putting that portion in the freezernow yes because we want to firm up alittle bit and we’ll just let it firm upas we are working on our banana icecream okay perfectyeah we’re on the banana part too okaythank youcamera are you guys how are you guysdoing good okay okay you’ve got yourbazillion bananas so yeah we it says tenor up to ten banana or yeah that’s yourbananas so we use our or I did send outa little adjustment before the class Ijust hopefully already got it but youcould if you don’t want to do ten wholebananas have a starving person nobodywould do 1.5 bananas per serving heryeah her one person so there were twopeople it would be three bananas yeah ifyou don’t want to do all ten so we usedour um what no the the stasher bags tofreeze our bananas so we just have a lotof bananas because I make a ton of theseyou guys know we want to be you serve agreat and then they’re all PriscillaKlunk together so I just took them allout and I’m gonna blend these up so I’mjust gonna try to separate them and thencut them in two queen-size pieces orchunks cutting them and the coin sizedpieces helps it blend better especiallylike savanna I know you guys have yourNinja Blender so if you have a blendercutting into smaller chunks willdefinitely help if you don’t have a foodprocessorprobably I’m just looking at him I hadno clue okay oh yeah six bananas sincethere’s only two of us and we are wehave them up like a another freezer thatstays at the right temperature thatdoesn’t make it too hard so we might putsome extra if leftovers in there cuz sixbananas is a lot for the two of us I’mjust gonna we’re doing a little more wewanted to show you if you did so I justlike a little bit more yeah we do theten bananas in class because we have somany kids yeah but the question yeah yeswe we froze the ten bananas so are youguys putting ten are you gonna put theten bananas in there is just the ratiofor the ten bananas that we’re doing areyou not doing the full 10 so I don’tknow if you saw the adjustment that Isent out but what we’re gonna do iswe’re gonna do a little less than the 10videos because it’s just the two of usbut you know if you have more people youobviously want to do more bananas butthat so the ratio use in the class isthe ten bananas with the chickpeamixture so if we do less we’re gonnahave a little bit of the chickpeamixture left over but what you can do isif you make all 10 bananas and you useall the chickpea mixture you can freezethe extra and then when you’re ready toeat the leftovers just put it in yourrefrigerator for about 10 minutesand that’ll get it soft without supermelty okay cuz we cut it up before wefroze it so perfect yeah that was goodbut I know you guys have the smallerNinja so you may not be able to do thewhole 10 in there probably not yeah whatyou more about it yeah yeah for sureso yeah that’s – like I said theoriginal recipe is for what we do inclass which makes like about you knowsix clips terming yeahor sample size servings we’re all thosekids right you know and I actually cutthis recipe to come as well so it makesa lot but we’re gonna we made the fullchickpea amount and then we’re doingyeah yeah we’re doing a little less ofthe banana just because we don’t havethere’s only the two of us eating it sookay yeah you’re gonna meet the full andfreeze it and then just pop it in therefrigerator for minutes if you wantokay thank you so much time so we’regonna go ahead and you and blend this upreally quickgreat yeah Thanks so we stopped toscrape it down let me get your okay okayI’m just gonna use my baking spatula tokind of even out then make sure so thenget all stuck on one side like it Justinand this takes a little bit of work toget it oh yeah it takes some time to getit completely smooth so you just have tobe patient with it okay do you want meto move all this just put it on top hereokay I mean go ahead and scoop all ofthis delicious banana ice cream rightout whoopsthis might have been too big this sizewould be good for the whole ten bananasprobably it’s way too big I think weshould get a smaller container okay wegot a smaller one and Savannah did youguys finish doing the ten bananas arey’all still doing that we didn’t do thefull ten bananas but it’s just ourbananas aren’t really bad okay okay okayso we’ve got our Scoob – right into thecontainer so I make smoothies this endof your mind you’re gonna have to mix inyour move it yeah yeahyeah okay we’re going we’re getting outour cookie dough right here okay sohere’s our cookie dough and then there’sour ice cream so obviously this cookiedough is enough for ten bananas okay soyou guys can keep working on your tenbananas so we’ll have a little left oversince we only get about 600 there I’msorry 1/2 teaspoon where is that we arestaring 1/2 teaspoon I don’t reallythink you’re chickenit’s okay okay so so I’m just taking thecookie dough it’s not quite asconsistency so I’m not gonna finish butI’m just rolling it in little balls andpopping it into my ice cream so I’m it’sstill a little liquidy so I’m sure thoseare wait you may not have to spoon now ahalf a tooth that’s a tablespoon I knowI just have it though that’s atablespoon it’s a half a teaspoonteaspoon oh yeah okay yeah that is youdon’t want ginormous clumps like youwant this let see here’s a teaspoon doyou want half a teaspoon because that isthat’s a really large pot Hey yeah yeahbaby oh boy we’re glad okay I’m justgonna put some other two we’re justputting a little half teaspoon cookiedough’s in there and we can I want tommm we’ll fold them in oh I’ll be ableto fold well we’ll try yeah this isgonna take foreveryeah well well just okay we’ll say thatwe’ll put that aside and then Gaby willjust show you how she’s gonna gentlyfold it in hold you just lift and turnedher yeah there you go over okay oh thatlooks good turn okay look at that nowI’m gonna try some right out of thecontainerOhyet as long as you don’t put it back innow so good isn’t it surprisingly goodyou guys wait let’s see how everybody’sdoing here yeah all rightgood job looks good yours you like ityay okay Savannah how are you doing overthere – okay Gabby got a new spoon shemight eat all six bananas by herselfokay Savannah are you folding your trickpeas in yet are you guys still workingon itgood good goodyeah just be patient be patient taketime Gabby’s over here eating her we’regonna have to probably blend the rest ofour bananas because we definitely have alot left so this to the ten bananas iswhat we need for the full chickpeaamount that we made yeah gabby isputting hours in the freezer to let itfreeze a little bit so um so the finalpart of the recipe is you do your halfteaspoon size balls of cookie doughgently fold them in and then normallyyou would freeze again for 15 minutes ifyou have time otherwise were you justeat it like soft-serve yeah but I knoweverybody is ready to try it so I hopeyou guys had fun and let’s see we’ll goback and you gotta find Annieso glad and it was great yeah why’d yougo fix it we got a pretty awesome
