Chocolate waffle /eggless chocolate waffle
-1cup – all purpose flour(maida)
-1tbsp – cornflour
-1/2cup – Powdered sugar
-1tsp – baking powder
-1/2tsp – baking soda
-2tbsp – Cocoa powder
-3tbsp – yogurt
-2tbsp melted butter
-1tbsp – vanilla essence
-1/2cup – milk /water
-in a bowl add all the dry ingredients
And sift it nicely.
-mix it well and set aside.
-in an another bowl, add yogurt, melted butter(if you’re using unsalted butter then add a pinch of salt to it) and vanilla essence
-Mix everything really well.
-then gradually add the wet ingredients into the dry one and mix it well
-and once it is mix then simultaneously keep adding milk/water which ever you like to adjust its consistency. (I HAVE USED AROUND 1/2CUP OF MILK)
(THE BATTER SHOULD NEITHER BE TOO THICK NOR TOO LOOSE BUT IT SHOULD BE SLIGHTLY ON THICKER SIDE JUST LIKE A CAKE BATTER.)
-mix the batter well and let it rest for about 3-4 minutes to puff up.
-preheat the waffle machine for about 2-3 minutes.
-slightly grease it with melted butter /oil.
-pour about 3/4cup of batter into the maker
(ALWAYS MAKE SURE NOT TO OVER FILL THE MACHINE OTHERWISE YOU WILL END UP LOOSING IT SHAPE AND THE BATTER WILL START OOZING OUT FROM THE SIDES.)
-close the waffle maker and let it cook for around 7-8 minutes or until you have crispy waffle.
-rest it about 2-3 minutes
-decorate it with fruits, ice-cream or anything you like.
