Recipe

Package of Chicken Tenders
1/2 Cup of Corn Starch
3 Cloves of Garlic (minced)
1 Green Onion (chopped)
2 tbsp Dry Red Chilies
1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil (for frying)
Maple Syrup of Choice

General Tso’s Sauce
3 tbsp Rice Vinegar
3 tbsp Soy Sauce
4 tbsp Hoison Sauce
3 tbsp Sugar
2 tbsp Corn Starch
1/2 Cup Water

Waffle Batter
1 Cup of Flour
1 tbsp Sugar
2 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 tsp Salt
1 Egg
1 Cup Milk (of choice)
2 tbsp Sesame Oil
1/4 Cup Green Onion (chopped)

1) Place a pan on medium-high heat and add your vegetable oil to the pan.
2) Place your corn starch in a Tupperware and dip your chicken tenders in the starch until fully coated. Add your tenders in the oil and cook on each side until golden brown.
3) Remove chicken onto a plate with paper towel, remove half the oil and add your garlic, chillies and green onion. Saute until they start to brown then add back in your chicken.
4) Combine all your ingredients for the sauce, whisk, then add half of the sauce to the pan with your chicken and veggies. Stir chicken in sauce until it starts to thicken and boil. Let it simmer in the sauce for 3-4 minutes.
5) In a separate bowl, combine your batter ingredients and whisk together. Spray down your waffle iron with cooking spray and add a 1/4 cup of batter. Cook until the light goes off or to your temperature preference.
6) Combine remainder of sauce and syrup together and pour over your chicken and waffles.
7) Plate and eat up b*h
