hey guys and welcome back from Mark’smenu so today I’m going to be sharinganother super easy dinner recipe whichis going to be a chicken potpie bakedchicken potpie actually didn’t reallylike when I was growing up so I kind ofjust had that thought in my head thateven kind of like into my adult life Iwouldn’t like it but I found this recipeon Pinterest and I tried it out andturns out I do like it now so it’sreally good it’s super easy it’s also areally good one because it holds reallywell for leftovers the flavors andeverything almost even get better withleftover so highly recommend this andlet’s get started so here’s everythingthat you’ll need for this recipe soyou’re going to need some southernhomestyle Gran’s biscuits you’ll use thewhole can some chicken shredded cheddarcheese shredded mozzarella cheese a bagof mixed frozen vegetablessalt and pepper garlic powder regularminced garlic butter onion powder andthen cream of chicken soup so you wantto start by getting your chicken cookedso you can easily use rotisserie chickenor as I’ve shown you before you can cookyour chicken easily in a crock-pot sothat it shreds so for this I took abouttwo larger chicken breasts you’re gonnawant about two to three cups of cookedchicken so you just want to season thechicken with salt pepper and a littlebit of garlic and then as I’ve mentionedbefore I like to add in some chickenbroth to this as well because I think itreally makes the chicken shred reallyreally easily by the time you’re done soI just cook it in a little chicken brothin a crock pot and typically it’s goingto take two or three hours on high onceyour chicken is done you want to goahead and pre-heat your oven to 375 foractual bake and then you just want totake your chicken and shred it into abowlagain you can use precooked chicken ifyou don’t have enough time to cook itahead of time and use chicken breastchicken thighs whatever you are[Music]and we’re going to add some garlicpowder and onion powder directly to that[Music]we’ll add one can of cream of chickensoup we’re gonna add this entire bag ofmixed vegetables so I think this is an 8or 10 ounce bag[Music]and then we’re going to add about a cupeach of shredded cheddar cheese andmozzarella cheese[Music]lastly you want to season this wholemixture with some salt pepper andoregano[Music]then you just want to mix everythingtogether so that the cheese soup chickenand vegetables are all incorporatedtogether[Music]now you want to take a large baking dishand spray it down with some cookingspray to avoid any sticking and thenjust add the mixture directly to thebaking dish and try and spread it out asevenly and flat as possible throughoutthe bottom[Music][Music]now it’s time to prepare the topping forthis so we’re just going to use somebuttermilk style biscuits and as you cansee I couldn’t get this open for thelongest time but you just open it asnormal so now you want to take thebiscuits and cut them each and to ninepieces the recipe originally calls justto cut them into quarters but I foundthat the biscuit pieces were a littlebit too big that way and it took awaytoo long to cook so I found that cuttingthem a bit smaller was actually betterin the overall cooking process so thatthey cook all the way through and don’tjust get browned and burnt on the topand are still doughy in the middle[Music]lastly you want to mount wants twotablespoons of butter and just take alittle brush and kind of drill that allover the top so that it gets a nicebrowned topping when you put it in theoventhen you want to go ahead and throw itin your oven for about 25 to 30 minutes[Music]once you see it’s nice and browned ontop and you’ll want to kind of put afork in and test to make sure that thedough in the middle of the biscuits aredone as long as they feel cooked this isgood to go again this is so so easy topull together that’s not you know thehealthiest most low-calorie meal but youcan definitely just do a small servingof this with a side salad or someroasted vegetables or whatever that youwould like with it really make it a nicemeal that the whole family would haveenjoy thanks again for watching today’svideo I hope you guys enjoyed it asalways if you have any questions leavethose and comments down below throughnew here and haven’t yet subscribed makesure you go ahead and subscribe so youdon’t miss out on any of the videos thatI post it on Wednesdays and Sundaysthanks again for watching mork’s menuand hope you have a great day bye guys[Music]
