How to make White Sugar Cookies(Snowball Cookies). These cookies are a Christmas tradition in our house. Simple to make and oh so good. Recipe is here in the description. Don’t forget to subscribe.
White Sugar Cookies

Preheat oven to 300*

1/2 lb butter (use real butter)
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup finely chopped pecans
2 dishes of powdered sugar
Cream butter and granulated sugar together. Add vanilla and mix well. Gradually beat in flour. Stir in nuts. Shape dough into bite size balls. Arrange on cookie sheets so the balls do not touch one another. Bake one sheet at a time. Bake 30 minutes. Remove from oven and place them gently in the first dish of powdered sugar. Gently roll to coat and then place in the second dish of sugar and again roll to coat. Place on tray to cool. Handle hot cookies very gently or they will crumble.
Makes several dozen.

[Music]hey y’all welcome to the kitchen holidayseason is coming up on and I’m gonnamaking it the holidays so I thought thatI would show you my favorite cookie inmy home I have creamed together twosticks of butter and 1/4 cup ofgranulated sugar and I’ve already donethat just keep y’all from happy tolisten to this mixer so much too that Iwant to add two and a quarter cup ofall-purpose flour we’re just gonna[Laughter][Laughter][Laughter]now this is a very new video it’s toughbecause all the fat in it and verygood-looking thing else and that’sreally all there is now I’ve got my ovenset at 300 degrees it’s pretty heated tothat and you don’t even take a cookiesheet and get you one of these ice creamsweetly spring-loaded ice cream scoopsokay so what I’m going to do now is I’mjust gonna form this dough into smallballs that’s all I want and these littlescoops helps do that oh well and justput them right on your cookie sheet youdon’t want your cookies for tops youjust wanna make little balls and youwant them about I think people make abig ball but I like to do them in just alittle bite five because you’re gonnaget once these are baked you’re going tocoat them in powdered sugar and ifyou’re taking bites out of cookiesthat’s just gonna be a mess you’re goingto have powdered sugar all over you orconfectionery sugar or whatever you liketo call itokay I below did my cookie sheet now andI’m gonna put it my oven you want theseto make 30 you want to set a timer for30 minutes and while that’s go and awhole one I’m gonna load yeah and whilethat was back in it I went ahead andlook at my second sheet for 30 unit okaythese cookies do not brown you don’twant them Brown and you’ve got a handlea while they’re hotwhat I’ve done is I have two dishes hereof powdered sugar or confectionery sugarwhatever you want to call it and youjust want to lay them all in the firstone and you may want to do these a fewat a time but you’ve got to be gentlewith these cookies because they willcrumble on you if you do them too if youhand a little too roughly and you justwant to roll them twice first in thisone get some a good coating and then inthis onenow this recipe that I’m giving you caneasily be doubled which is what Iusually do if I make these about 50times with ruthless because everybodywants themand that’s all there is to it okay butour cookies are all donepowdered them all and there you have ita wonderful little bite of heaven makesomething good for your family that loveit all right thank you[Music]
