How to make stained glass cookies part 1

that’s my channel okay we’re makingstandoffs cookies or as I like to callit Jolly Rancher cookies so what do youneed today is a big mixing bowl flourand I’ll extract unsalted butter sugarand Jolly Ranchers or any other hardcandy you would like to add and a circleor square cookie cutter I’m goingcircles net so for the butter we have toget ace I’ve got a small mixing bowl andI’m going to microwave seconds to makeit really soft it’s pretty soft rightnow because I’ve been letting it sit outfor like a few minutes or seconds so youneed 3/4 cents a cup of unsaltedunsalted butter so I think what we’redoing is making sugar cookies and thenadding like I think what we’re doing isadding Jolly Ranchers and just or likeI’m gonna say Jolly Ranchers just knowthat y’all can add whichever one y’allwant to use they just have to be hardcandy like don’t put airheads in that’snot gonna be like clear so make surethey’re like clear cuz they’re gonnamelt into them and so it’s going to lastso I just got a microwave this and Missstart with ten seconds to start withthem thenso I’m gonna so 5 more seconds to Safari10 seconds in the microwaveI’m just going to maybe like I thinkthat is actually gonna be the last 5seconds because it’s pretty softwe just don’t play everything so I’mgoing to actually start mixing thebutter first moms will use this I’mgonna go and start like kind of likesmashing all the butter so I don’t haveto do with all the other ingredientsthat will be sad I think it’s prettysoft really because of all the butter sowe need 1 cup of superfine sugar or justsugar will work I got the sugarsit just looks like sugar with a littlebit of butter right now which I would donot pull that a bad thing we need oneyesso you’re doing this first right likeyou’re I’m I’m getting all the okay welldon’t put the egg in there yet becauseyou need to see cream the butter andsugar and until pale and then you’regonna stir in that bag and so before weadd the flour if to stir the butter andsugar until it’s like a pale color whichis a good thing my mom caught that inthe recipe because otherwise thought wewould have messed up the recipe it haseven been I don’t know five seconds soI’ve made sure cookies before they justweren’t homemade like I had the mix andall I had to do is like on butter andstuff and it’s poppin’ so it’s supereasy but this is homemade like nothing’slike re made except for like thingradient lip butter and all extractedthe Jolly Ranchers and all that goodstuffthis is really hard to mix like normallyit’s not that hard for me to mix thiskind of stuff but this this is hard cuzhands they’re just like stabbing thebutter that’s how I do it and then Istart mixing because it needs to be allsmall and crunched up so she’s gonnahear a lot more ways each carnival mixthat’s my arms tiredthis I’ve said this in a few of my otherbaking videos but this isn’t workoutokay I think I’m gonna help me y’allactually might need help on this parttoo because it’s a workoutokay now is to add one medium whichlet’s see what stirrin have been the eggand the vanilla extract fold in theflour I can add every there’s only oneegg it’s my sister Avery you can totallysee her face cuz of the bowl there sheisand I need the 1 teaspoonso I poured the vanilla extract and theegg and I’m going to choose myhandy-dandy whisk that you’ll see in allmy cooking videos that involve eggs Iuse the whisk egg so it’s not super hardto mix the egg looks really gross rightnow and brown because I added thevanilla extract into the egg y’all canjust add the vanilla extract and the eggand I like into this bowl that I’madding it into a separate Bowl so it’snice and easy to mix doesn’t take extratime I have to fold in the flour and it[Music]3 3 and 1/4 flour this is how much flourI need did y’all just see all that dustthat was all flouroh that’s about on my counter this isgonna be super hard to mix because Ifeel like all I’m mixing is flourhow to piece butterdo y’all like this is how much flourthis is how much optionthis makes 32 cookies and you need 32hard candies so we might actually nothave enough hard candies but I thinkit’ll be okayI smell flour and sugar that’s all Ismell right now mainly flour doc can youhelp me mix this so I have to bring mydad I’m actually normally very good atmixing these kind of things but there’sso much flour it’s really hard to mixjust need to get a bigger spot songenough so we’re gonna slice using a bigspatula so we can get down to the bottomof it and really mix it up I’m usingthree mixing utensils a whisk that wasfor the egg and then the dull abstractthis one was for all the sometimes whenyou’re cooking it takes a few utensilsokay we normally only like use one but Ialways at least used to and I cookbecause I whisk my eggscuz I’m from mana daza yep so what arewe supposed to stop it says surely Iholding the flourwoman is that one and two teaspoons ofwaterwoman 2 is that what it says that wantto doone to two teaspoons of water I’m justone but we have a lot of flour so Imight have to addso you need one or two tables notteaspoons so sorry about that earlier doyou think I need more they always get itwrong well that’s just like
