Challah bread is of biblical origin, a special bread in Jewish cuisine and served on occasions like Shabbat ,and major Jewish holidays other than Passover. Found in Eastern Europe. (Wikipedia). Try it guys. It is so fun to make and delicious too. I think I am going to make more in the future..loving different designs of the bread.
Ingredients:
3 tsp instant dry yeast
1 1/4 cup water, lukewarm
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup vegetable oil
4 egg yolks
3 1/2 cups bread flour
1 1/2 tsp salt
*egg wash
*sesame seeds
Oven: 350F. Bake for 21 minutes until golden brown.
