Cooking Keto with Leon and Rob – Episode 01 90 Second Keto Bread

Want to learn how to cook KETO? Whether you are a cooking Novice (like me), a professionally trained chef like Rob, or something in-between, follow our step-by-step guide to Keto (ketogenic) friendly meals and food items. In this episode we make the easy yet versatile, “90 second Keto Bread”.

If you are new to the ketogenic diet you may think that you are stuck eating nothing but eggs, meat, cheese, and nuts while missing out on all the fun foods that your carb indulging friends enjoy on a regular basis. On Keto Cooking with Leon and Rob we aim to help individuals of all cooking levels learn how to prepare a variety of keto friendly meals to help increase your meal options while enjoying the health benefits of the Keto Diet.

As a complete cooking novice I ask the questions many of you may have while watching other cooking segments as I am as overwhelmed by some elements of cooking as many of you at home. We aim the episodes to be accessible to everyone, including those that may be cooking for the very first time. So don’t be intimidated by the kitchen any longer and let us help you grow from a Kitchen Zero to a Kitchen Keto Hero.

RECIPE:

90 Second Keto Bread
Serving 1
1 Large Egg
1 Tablespoon butter or oil
3 Tablespoons Almond Flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder

To make, simply combine all the ingredients in a small bowl and pour into a greased microwave-safe bowl or ramekin.
Microwave for 90 seconds.
Flip out of the ramekin and slice in half.

To toast: butter a pan or skillet over medium heat and toast the bread until golden and crispy.
Alternatively, toast in a toaster.
