hi everybody I’m Mallory and I’m apsycho sibling and today it isValentine’s Dayso for Valentine’s Day guess what we’regonna be making chocolate chip cookiesin the kitchenMallory’s kitchen my kitchen now um so Iknow you’re probably thinking chocolatechip cookies on Valentine’s Day it’susually like shortbread cookies or sugarcookieswell chocolate chip cookies that I willhave a recipe of is really delicious andso yeah and we have all the ingredientsfor it so that’s also good let’s getstarted into so remaining the bowl firstnow we are actually doubling this recipetoday because we want more and yeah sowhat we’re gonna do that goes reallyclose up I do that you know you’re justgonna have to see a lot of the bowl abowl it’s a pretty medium-sized bowlit’s fine though so we are doubling thisrecipe and the regular recipe usuallymakes about eight cookies so we’re gonnabe making about sixteen and cookies withthis batch so our ingredients includehalf a cup of butter which is like eighttablespoons I think a half a cup ofpacked brown sugar let’s see well sothis is what I’m reading that’s thedouble recipe let me just make surethat’s clear so if you want to make aregular recipe of this I’ll put theregular recipe down below okay so it’stwo tablespoons or sorry 4 tablespoonsof graduated sugar and egg two splashesof vanilla extract one and a half cupsof flourhalf a teaspoon of baking soda twopinches of salt and however manychocolate chips you want you shouldn’toverdo it but you shouldn’t if you wantit underdone like you don’t like reallychocolate chips and go for it but I likea good amount but don’t overdo it cuzthat’s like overdoing it so let’s getstarted so there’s only seven directionsnot really bad at allI’m guessing we should preheat the ovenfirst okay so it says bake in a 350degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes so wegotta do everything first but I shouldpreheat it to 350 I’m guessinglet me preheat the oven real quick cuzthat would be a disaster if you didn’tcome can I compete oven the oven okay[Music]staypick 350 okay350 hallelujah so now that that’spreheating over there we’re gonna startso for direction number one it says in amixing bowl cream butter with brownsugar and graduated sugar until lightand fluffy and we I already have all myingredients out and ready except for thesugar but let’s get started so I’m gonnaput our butter in now the butter shouldbe softwe’re gonna put our so when you’re doingbrown sugar you need to make sure it’sreally tightly packed or else you’re notgonna give enough and now let’s see weneed 4 tablespoons gay sugar well youknow I could get that open and agreeokay you can come out thank you sothat’s one couldn’t measure this outfirstit’s – it’s okay if you have a littlebit more but you don’t want to have likea lot more like that’s three that’s fourokay so what it looks like right now itdoesn’t look mixed dinner anything atallso if you see see it just kind of clumpit’s there so now again fork because youhave to make the butter smooth so yougotta do it with a fork or else ahperfectokay but er still a little hard not thathard thoughnow these aren’t gonna be as good aslike Publix or anything so don’t be itbecause you don’t want to hear itbecause now at this point you should beable to like pick it up with our handsbut after this we’re almost done becausethis is our third step and we only haveseven and two of our steps are just likeputting it in the oven and chocolate mixis really you know okaywe are going inoh very good snap man a little stickynot no better leave that step still needall that like xs-extra weird crumbs seelook I can actually pick it up you knowit stays that’s a good signthat is good that means you are good youare doing good now if you can’t then youneed some more work on it see stinky cheese hmm now Ijust need some chips[Music]now here’s a tip so when you’re workingwith any kind of sticky things you wantto put flour on your hand so thatdoesn’t get stuck never put water justwater and flour don’t mix very well wellif it’s in baking I guess if there’s arecipe and it says to do that I guessbut like thanks yeah oh okay you have totry something cuz I can’t put chocolatechips in there without trying it sonow what we’re gonna do ungreased cookiesheet or parchment of paper okay youneed parchment paper ungreased cookiesheet don’t we have cookie our parchmentpaper so I might just have to put on themachine only need to be fine so if youhave a ball or whateveruse it don’t really care I usually don’twrite not fancyoh yeah we’re definitely gonna needanother cookie sheet I don’t know in theregular recipe it says half an egg but Idon’t really know how are you supposedto do half an eggsso I never missed free I guess so I’mdoing four by two probably should do alittle more than that but we don’t havevery big cookie trays Oh God my hands ohthey’re like literally everything issticking to them so please it’s a littlebit I guessyou need to meet hmmfirst tray know I only put eight on thetray look we can make these smallcookiesno it used to be biggerbut no it’s huge okayokay we still good amount of access soso this is 16 but we still got all thisso we could probably make more than justsix days you’re going in the oven I’mjust talking to the cameraI’m gonna put on our mittenyou know safety hurt because the oven isreally hard to
