German Pancakes Baked at the Wrong Temperature – WHOOPS

-Preheat oven to 425
6 large eggs
1 cup milk
1 cup flour
a dash of salt
5 tablespoons of butter
– Place butter in pan and let it melt in the oven.
– Blend all ingredients together
– Add ingredients to pan and bake at 350 for 22-27 minutes.

hi I’m mama Fontana and welcome to mykitchen today we’re doing Germanpancakes[Music]if this is your first time watching me Iwould hope you would considersubscribing below so we’re going to getstarted with German pancakes I startedseeing these not too awfully long ago itwasn’t anything I made for my familywhen they were growing up but all of asudden I saw them in a restaurant and Ithought I gotta look up that recipe andtry to do it and it’s not hard at all sowhat we’re gonna do first and foremost Ihave my oven preheated to 425 and you’llsee on the recipe it says fivetablespoons of butter what you do withthat five tablespoons is you put it inyour pan and now we’re going to take itto the oven and that’s going to meltwhile we make the ingredients so whilethat’s melting we’re gonna do theingredients in a blender first we needsix eggs this is a hard one there we go[Music]- I think is easier doing this one fiveand six okay there’s your six eggs nowit also calls for one cup of milka cup of flour[Music][Music]and it calls for 1/4 of a cup of sugar[Music]and then a teaspoon of vanilla that’snot very many ingredients at all Wowthis little sucker stuck there we go soabout a teaspoon of vanilla now I’mgonna make some noise make some noisehere we go[Music]okay I’m gonna go check and see if thatsmelter the butter has to melt in thepan and then we’re going to pour thisinto the pan and then we’re gonna bakeit now this is something differentnormally everything’s 350 for the mostpart this is 425 and it’s going to takeabout 20 to 25 minutes to cook and thenwe’re gonna put a little powdered sugaron it put a little syrup on it and it isdelicious this makes a great breakfastidea let’s go check this outokay so we have melted butter in the panand it’s hot so we’re gonna take thisand we’re gonna pour it straight in here[Music]now we’re gonna take it and put it backin the oven see in 25[Music]hi guys welcome back well here is thefinished product and a small disclaimerI told you for 25 yes it is for 25 tomelt the butter then you need to turn itdown to 350 because then it gets alittle bit crusty on the edges stillgonna be good we’re still gonna eat itbut fYI 350 after your melt your butterso you don’t get the little bit ofBoerne but see how it comes up and itkind of blue fees up it’s still going tobe delicious this is quite spongy whichis kind of awesome so I always put alittle bit of powdered sugar on thereand then this is homemade syrup yes Imade homemade syrup and it’s pretty darngood so mmm drippy[Music]still good so thank you for watchingwe’ll see you next time remembersubscribe we appreciate all of it and asalways I share the love of cooking withmy family now I share it with you seeyou next time[Music]I thanks so much for watching if youliked what you saw subscribe down hereif you want to see my latest videos orother ones go up here see ya
