Soft and tasty raisin cookies are here, In this video i showed how to make raisin cookies easily, These butter raisin cookies are best combination with tea and coffee. These raisin cookies are very soft and will have raisin punch in your mouth with every bite.

Ingredients:

Unsalted butter – 80g
Powdered sugar – 60g
Salt – 1 g
Egg – 20 g half
Maida – 160g (All-Purpose Flour)
Raisin – 60g

Process:

For the beginning I am dropping 80 grams of room temperature unsalted butter into a bowl, I am giving it a whisk and adding 60 grams of powdered sugar.
Stir till butter and sugar combines well, into this I am adding one egg yolk, egg yolk works as a binder and makes cookies sofer.
Egg yolk combines well, time to add some rasin, here I am using 60 grams of raisin, mix the raisin with butter mixture, remove (take out) the whisk and through the sieve I am sifting 160 grams of all-purpose flour and 1 gram of salt.
Mix well to form a dough, refrigerate the dough for 1 hour, this will harden the dough and will make the job easier.
Take out after 1 hour and with the spatula press in a rectangle cylinder shape.
Now cool this in a refrigerator for 30 minutes, this makes cutting job easier.
Take out after 30 minutes and cut, here I am cutting approximately 1 cm width pieces.
Place them on a baking tray align with parchment. Bake in preheated oven at 170 C for 15 to 18 minutes.
These cookies are very very soft. One of my favorite cookies.
