Preheat oven to 200 F degrees
4 room temperature egg whites
1/4 tsp cream of tartar
Pinch of salt
Whisk until soft peaks form.
Gradually add 1 cup of fine sugar and continue beating until glossy, stiff peaks form and you can’t feel any sugar when you rub the whites between your fingers.
Fill a piping bag with the meringue and use a large star tip.
Bake for 1 hour, then don’t open the oven door and leave them in there until cool.
Store in airtight container for 2 weeks on the counter.
