How to Make: SNICKERDOODLE COOKIES

Snickerdoodle Recipe:
Ingredients:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup shortening
1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cream of tartar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar and 2 tsp cinnamon (for rolling cookies in)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream together sugar, butter, and shortening. Mix in one egg at a time, scraping bowl down.
2. Sift together dry ingredients and pour into butter mixture. Mix on low speed until combined. Pour in vanilla extract.
3. Scoop and roll cookie dough in cinnamon sugar. Bake for 10-15 minutes. Allow to cool for 5-15 minutes. Enjoy!

[Music][Music][Music]alright welcome back to Sam Broome todaywe are gonna be making snickerdoodlecookies so I have my ingredients infront of me first I scooped the sugarand then I put it in my stand mixer withmy half butter and half shortening andthen I just creamed that together now Iam cracking two eggs I scraped the bowlbefore I made for the AEGON which isimportant just to make everything isincorporated evenly and mix after oneegg mix add the other egg and then mixagain all right now sorry for the camerachange now I’m measuring my flour I justscooped it I leveled it with a back of aknife made sure that the fire was fullyincorporated i measured three cups offlour and then i’m pouring it into mysifter i will have all the ingredientsthe recipe link down below so make sureyou go look at that now I’m putting inthe sifter my salt cream of tarterbaking soda and then all the seasoningswhich is just a little bit of cinnamonand then sift that into your buttermixture[Music]right now I’m hosting the flower itpoured all the flour from the sifterinto the bowl and then I’m just pulsingit so it doesn’t fly out the edge I’madding my vanilla oh and I’m let’s actlike that didn’t happen he I took it outdon’t worry no meadow by hand it wascleanbut I just added my vanilla about ateaspoon of vanilla into it and then mixdon’t over mix so that the glutendoesn’t develop and then I just scoopthem into balls I roll them in cinnamonsugar and then I put it in a 375preheated oven for about 10 to 15minutes I usually bake for 12 minutescheck if the edges are golden brown whenthey’re done let them cool in the panfor about five minutes before taking offand then transfer them to a wire rackand let them completely cool here I’mjust doing a little photo shoot for likea thumbnail for the video you don’t haveto do this but played them however youwant put them in a cookie jar and yeahthanks guys so much for watching I’llsee you next week[Music][Music]
