Hey Sweeties, as many of us are in quarantine right now I thought I will share this tutorial to help you create something that your kids can enjoy as in-home activities and hopefully keep them entertained for a sometime while we collect our sanity lol 😅 just kidding…actually…not really😜🙈
Anyway, I’m sure you have seen these Paint-Your-Own aka PYO Cookies before, they are so popular during kids birthday parties or any seasonal celebration like Easter, Thanksgiving, Valentine, Christmas etc as they are the perfect combination of dessert and activity. They can keep children entertained for a little while and best of all they can eat their creation afterwards because they are fully edible and sooo yummy! Yassss 🙌😁😜
I’m going to share the most popular way of making PYO cookies, which is to use a stencil. If you don’t feel super confident in your royal icing skills, that’s okay…you can also make these PYO cookies with some ready to roll fondant. Just grab some fondant from the grocery store or make your own if you prefer to do it and have the ingredients at home.
Oh and btw, these cookies also known by many other names Color-A-Cookie, Paint-A-Cookie, but i refer to them as PYO = Paint-Your-Own Cookies.
I’m also showing you the most convenient way of adding the edible paint, so for those of you who doesn’t own any airbrush you can still make these cookies coz they are using yummy chocolate M&Ms.
I make the chocolate cookies on purpose so it will go together with the chocolate M&M flavour….yummmm!!! 🤤🤤🤤
