Inara shares her Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe in the first episode of her “Cook with Inara” series. She’s dedicating this to her Kindergarten teachers while schools are closed and we’re all staying home.
Hey, if a 5 year-old can make these dishes, then why can’t you?!
Here’s the recipe:
► 225 g unsalted butter
► 200 g granulated sugar
► 225 g soft light brown sugar
► 1 large egg
► 2 egg yolks
► 1 tsp vanilla paste
► 250 g all-purpose flour
► 110 g cake flour
► 1 tsp baking powder
► 1 tsp baking soda
► 1 tsp salt
► 300-400 g of chocolate chips
► Preheat the oven to 350 °F (180 °C) convectional setting.
► Put the butter, sugar and light brown sugar into a mixing bowl and beat until combined.
► Add 1 egg and 2 egg yolks, and vanilla paste and mix well.
► Mix together the flour, cakeflour, baking powder and baking soda and salt.
► Add the flour mixture and chocolate chips to the mixing bowl, beating until everything is well blended.
► Arrange equally sized dough balls onto lined baking trays.
► Bake for about 7-12 minutes,depending on the size of the cookie.
