Chewy buttery Gooey bakery style Cookies in minutes
150g castor sugar
120g brown sugar
150g unsalted Butter
1 Tspn Bicarbonate of Soda
1/2 Tspn salt
200g Chocolate Chips
1 Tbsp Cornflour ( this makes any Cookie Recipe Chewy )
If you like a chunky gooey cookie freeze dough in a log shape wrapped in cling film and then slice to 1 inch and cook from frozen
If you like a thin Chewy Cookie cook once dough is prepared.
You may add any additional toppings of your choice
You can add in 150g of oats and raisins and 1 tsp of cinnamon to make oatmeal raisin cookies;
add in 100g of peanut butter and 1 tsp of cinnamon to make snickerdoodles;
add in 80g of cocoa powder and 100g of white chocolate chips to make double choc;
add in mnms instead of chocolate chips to make rainbow cookies etc etc
Bake in preheated oven 180 degrees for 12 minutes or until golden .
