2-in-1 Butter Cookies Recipe | How to make soft and crispy Butter Cookies | Chocolate filled cookies

Learn how to make soft,crispy, tasty and two different flavors of butter cookies on Hello Ginger.

Butter cookies brings back our childhood memories and they are a classic favorite holiday cookie but they’re also great all year around! Crisp, buttery cookies with melt-in-your-mouth interiors, these are super simple to make and no chilling required!

Ingredients:
For Cookies:
Unsalted Butter – 180g ( at room temperature)
Powdered Sugar – 120g
Egg – 1 Medium sized
Vanilla Extract – 1/2 teaspoon
Cake or All-purpose flour – 230g
Cocoa powder-15g
salt ( a pinch, its optional, only if you prefer)

For the filling:
Dark or White chocolate- 25g
Whipping cream – 10g

Tips:
1. Bring the butter and egg to room temperature before creaming
2. Pre-heat the oven before baking.
3. If the dough is bit stiff to pipe, use bigger tip.
4. Melted chocolate can be used directly as filling without whipping cream.
5. cool the baked cookies for 10 to 15 mins before serving.

6. Instead of filling, the cookies can also be dipped into melted chocolate.
