SUNDAY HOMEMADE BREAD | SHELTERING IN PLACE | EASY DINNER ROLLS | COOK WITH ME

Today I try to keep my emotions light and have some fun during a difficult and scary time. I decide to make some homemade rolls and the recipe I use is delicious, easy and bakes up so nicely you can’t hardly mess it up.

Easy Dinner Rolls (Falon at Moss Family TV and Shelby at The Queen’s Cabinet)
You will need:
1 c warm water
3 1/4 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 T. yeast
1 egg
2 T. Butter
1 t. salt

1) Combine all the ingredients, except one cup of flour, in a bowl of a stand mixer and mix using dough hooks on low speed until combined
2) Mix for 5 minutes gradually adding in the last cup of flour. Dough will pull from the sides of the bowl and it will be soft and slightly sticky.
3) Turn dough out onto a LIGHTLY floured surface and knead 2 or 3 times, Cover with a kitchen towel and let it rise for 60-90 minutes or until doubled in size.
4) Flatten dough, divide into 16 pieces, shape into balls. Place balls in a well greased baking pan 9×13, cover with kitchen towel and let them rise for 45 min or until doubled in size.
5) Bake at 350 degrees oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until tops are golden brown and the rolls sound hollow. It took my rolls 25 min.
