youtoday so what am I making today I ammaking banana bread so what’s so newabout banana bread your property sayingwell not alot really um this recipe ismore to do with the method of cookingthat’s a little bit different yeahingredients are at the brothers actuallythree ingredients that’s all threeingredients to this banana bread andit’s very very easy I’ll turn the cameraaround and I’ll show you exactly whatyou need to make it so you might want tograb yourself a cup of tea or cup ofcoffee or depending on where you are inthe world at the time of day is youmight want to grab yourself something alittle bit cooler longer and strongershould we say trade Jim okay so in thejug I’ve got two and a half cups ofself-raising flour I have got here justone can of condensed milk and then I’mgoing to be using well I’ve got fourbananas that need to be used up itdepends on the size of your bananas Imean if they’re really big a mind quitebig I suppose they only need to use foranyway it’s very little bit smaller thanmaybe use five I’m just gonna make thebatter because it makes it batter I’mgonna make it up inblender here and yet you are notmistaken you’ll see in a slow cooker itactually gets cooked in the slow cookerso let me get started and to put allthese ingredients together a so I’ve gotmy bananas here they as you can seethey’ve started to go sort of a littlebit of spotty get the brown spots on andI’m the only one in the house thesebananas Chris doesn’t like bananas so ofcourse there’s no way I’m gonna getthrough these four before they sortturn and personally I don’t like to eatthem like this and no lot of people dobut I actually don’t just startliterally by putting my bananas in hereyou can use your blender you can useyour food mix so you can do all by handif you want to but I’ve just used thisto make some Stilton and broccoli soupwashed it out so I’ll just use againbefore I put it all away[Music]they said the bananas are in here nowI’m I think down try to see you thebananas are all in here so now I’m goingto add the condensed milk which is sonaughty but nice it reminds me of mychildhood when I was a child we used tohave condensed milk on bread yeah howbad is that so I’m gonna start just byadding some of it to the bananas andthen I’m gonna start to do bit of ablissspeaking to the top by the way right therest of the condensed milk in anotherblast as you can see is really quiteliquidy now they’re not going to startto put my flourI haven’t sipped it or anything nothingyou know I’ve really prepped it justmeasured it literallydocks down by Murphy wait for things tofall down good luck with this one Ted atthis stage if you want to you can add Idid end up with vanilla extract in hereif you wanted to I personally just leaveit as this also it’s so easy to do byhand as well right let’s take it off ofthere now that’s done so you need totake your loaf tin and obviously greaseit line it whatever you want to doI literally just put a little bit ofolive oil in and then with a pastrybrushI literally just start this all aroundthe cake Tim I’ll just make sure thatall sides are really all coated reallywell coated if I put your on a tripod itwould’ve been so much better would nowOh to pour the batter into the bakingdish of the loaf tin so I’m just gonnahelp it on its way bearall right so I get on with my bad armlet’s just start pouring it in you cansee the little pieces here hold on Imove it down a little bit there we gothe little pieces obviously are thebananathis is where I find it all quitedifficult with my arm I don’t have atranscript some more out of themI look very cack-handed I know like lookvery frustrating I know it’s so hard forme to lift anything I lift it up youknow and I don’t like asking for help ifI don’t have to very independent rightthat’s pretty much it a little too manypeople effort not worth worrying aboutright so this is it let the all the thebetter in the left in now and it hasleveled itself out anyway so while youwere actually making the batter firstthing you want to do is to put your slowcooker on and put it on high so thatit’s all heated up so that when you putthe cake in it’s all ready to go it’s abit like preheating your oven yeah oh ohI saw a liner I always useslowpoke aligners always always alwaysbecause I literally just have to pullthem out no cleaning okay so I’m justgoing to pop my cake to by lotion isgoing in okaynow what you need to do is you put somewater around the loaf tin about threecentimeters of water so just aroundobviously you can make food up get itinto your cake mix it’s not an exactscience so don’t worry too much butthat’s enough because basically whatyou’re doing is you are really steamingit so yeah you’re basically is steamingit to cook it so I’ve got hold on soI’ve got my slow cooker here I’ve got itset on to height and I’ve got my loaftin with my batter in and then aroundthe edges that you probably can’t seeany way but I’ve got some water thenwhat you do because you don’t want thecondensation to be dripping on top ofyour cake what you next do is you take atea towel and you cover your cake thenyou put this back on okay right so it’sall in here I’ve got a tea towel overthe top the lids back on now I’m goingto set my timer for two hours and theywon’t come out here and look at it fortwo hours in which time it should becooked so see in a couple of hours guysmy guys said my lumps just gone off twohours literally turn the top I’ve justtaken obviously the lid off the teatowel off and this is what it looks likeit’s so amazing anyway I’ll show it toyou when it’s out of the tin so it’s allcooled down now so this is what it lookslike this is the finished article if youlike umm really nice really springy soI’m just gonna touch a couple of piecesof
