let’s quickly bake some easy HONEY WHEAT BREAD || cook with me 2020 (beginner bread recipe!)
I love this recipe, it only takes 6 ingredients to make this budget honey wheat bread! If you would like to make a no egg, no milk, no baking powder, no baking soda, no sugar wheat bread, but still be delicious, then, check this video because I share step by step how to make the easiest honey wheat bread- no baking experience needed! lol this is really a beginner bread recipe! This was my first time baking homemade wheat bread and I made 2 good tasting loaves of honey wheat bread.
Original recipe makes 4 loaves, I cut it in half to make less (I have a small family) If you want to make more just double the measurements.
1/4 CUP HONEY
2 1/3 WHEAT FLOUR
2 1/3 WHITE FLOUR
1 TBSP OF INSTANT YEAST
1 TSP SALT
1/4 CUP OIL
2 CUPS WARM WATER
1. DISSOLVE YEAST, HONEY, OIL AND SALT IN WARM WATER.
2. ADD THE FLOUR TO WARM MIXTURE ONE CUP AT A TIME, WHILE STIRRING. USE A DOUGH HOOK IN A MIXER TO MAKE IT EASIER.
3. KNEAD THE DOUGH IN A WELL FLOURED AREA, KNEAD UNTIL DOUGH IS SMOOTH AND ELASTIC (DOUGH IS NO LONGER STICKING TO HANDS)
4.LET THE DOUGH RISE (ABOUT 20 MIN OR DOUBLED IN SIZE) IN A BOWL MAKE SURE IT IS COVERED WITH A TOWEL OR PLASTIC WRAP.
5.ONCE THE DOUGH RISES DIVIDE DOUGH INTO 2 PIECES. PLACE DOUGH IN A GREASED LOAF PAN.
6.BAKE BREAD AT 350 DEGREES FOR 35 MINUTES OR UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN AND CAN HEAR A HOLLOW SOUND WHEN TAPPING THE TOP OF THE BREAD.
7.PLACE LOAVES IN A COOLING WIRE RACK AND ADD BUTTER TO THE TOP OF THE BREAD AND READY TO EAT.
8. EAT WITHIN 5 DAYS OR FREEZE UNTIL READY TO USE.
