Chicken Braided Bread / Chicken Bread / Chicken Braided Bread in oven / by cooking with fa

Very simple and easy to make at home.

Ingredients:-
For dough:
Maida-2cups
Salt-as reqd
Yeast-1tbsp
Water -as reqd
Oil-2tbsp

For chicken filling:-
Oil-1tbsp
Butter-2tbsp
Chicken-2cups,boiled and shredded
Onion-1medium, chopped
Ginger garlic paste-1tsp
Milk-1cup
All purpose flour/maida-2tbsp
Black pepper powder-1tsp
Red chilli powder-1/4tsp
Coriander powder-1/4tsp
Cumin powder-1/4 tsp
Garam masala powder-1/4tsp
Salt-1tsp
Coriander leaves- 2tbsp,chopped

Egg-beaten,for brushing
Sesame seeds-1tbsp
Butter for Brushing

Method:-
To prepare the dough
1.In a small bowl take water
Add sugar and mix well until sugar dissolves
2.Add yeast and mix it set aside for 5 minutes.
3.In a mixing bowl add maida,salt mix it.
4.Add yeast mixture after yeast is active and begin to knead the dough
5. Add water as reqd knead to a smooth and soft dough
6.Add oil and knead again.
Set aside for 1 hour or till the dough rises to double its size
Meanwhile prepare for chicken filling:-
1.heat oil and butter and saute well
2.add onion and saute well until onion turn lightly brown
3.Add milk and Maida.stir well
Keep stirring to avoid any lumps
4.Add chicken pieces and mix well
5.Add all spices ,salt and coriander leaves.mix well everything.
6.cook for few minutes and switch off the flame and keep aside to cool it.

To assemble the bread
1.You can see the dough had double its size.Knead it again for few seconds
2.Divide the dough into 3 parts
(Depending on the size of chicken bread you want)
3.Roll and flatten it
Dust some flour roll the dough to a rectangle shape roll it into a medium thick.
4.Put some chicken filling in the center
5.Make slits on the sides with a knife leaving some space at the top and bottom
Fold each other so that they overlap each other sides like braid
6.Take baking tray grease with oil
Place bread in it
Brush top with beaten egg
Sprinkle sesame seeds
7.Bake at 200 degrees c for 20 25 minutes
Done
Brush with butter and serve.
