😋😋😋Home Bake ~ DIY Crusty Italian Bread (Crunchy Bread Crust, Soft Inside)😋😋😋

INGREDIENTS/ PREPARATION

👉Flour
~ 390g / 3 Cups

👉Yeast (Instant)
~ 3/4 tsp

👉Sugar (Optional)
~ 3 tsp

👉Salt
~ 1 1/2 tsp

👉Water (Temperature 45 Degrees Celsius)
~ 300 ml (1 1/4 cup)

👉Cheddar Cheese
~ 4 Slices

1️⃣ STEP 1: Prepare Bread Dough
~ In a large bowl, mix yeast, salt, sugar and warm water. Stir in flour, mixing until there are no dry patches. Dough will be quite loose.

2️⃣ STEP 2: 1st Proofing (2.5 Hours)
~ Cover, but not with an airtight lid. Let dough rise at room temperature 2.5 hours (or up to 3 hours).

3️⃣ STEP 3: Shape the Dough
~ Fold the Dough for 4 times with 2 different way of direction and put in cheese. Then make it to round shape.

4️⃣ STEP 4: 2nd Proofing (1 – 2 Hours)
~ Cover, but not with an airtight lid. Let dough rise at room temperature 1.5 hours (or up to 2 hours).

5️⃣ STEP 5: 1st Bake (230 Degrees Celsius for 30 Minutes)
~ Slash top with serrated or very sharp knife one time.
~ Bake with container.

6️⃣ STEP 6: 2nd Bake (180 Degrees Celsius for 15 – 20 Minutes)
~ Bake without container.
