Nutritious Whole Wheat Waffles



I make waffles for my family all the time! Waffles are easy because the recipe can vary greatly, yet still turn out wonderfully! This is one that I use when I have plain whole yogurt that I want to use up. These waffles are sweetened using applesauce so they don’t require syrup. Perfect for little fingers! This recipe serves 4.

Ingredients:
Wet-
4 Eggs
1 Cup Applesauce (I use unsweetened)
1/3 Cup Yogurt
1/4 Cup Oil of your choice
1/2 Tablespoon Vanilla Flavor
Dry-
1 Cup Whole Wheat Flour

Directions:
-Preheat waffle maker.
-Thoroughly Mix Wet Ingredients.
-Add Flour and stir until thoroughly combined.
-Plop appropriate sized batter onto your waffle iron.
-Enjoy when it’s done!
