I am Emily the founder of Emily’s finefood for those who don’t know me yet andtoday I thought it might be fun to giveyou a little look into my kitchenbecause I’m making our get giftsChristmas gifts for our loyal customerswithin Switzerland and I am making freshhope apples those are those typicalDutch waffles with syrup in the middleand they’re actually relatively easy tomake the dough is pretty much flourbutter and sugar and spices of coursethere is cinnamon in there because it’snice and and it gives this Christmas Evesmell for this time of year althoughmost people at it always you can addother spices like little pepper clovesStarion is what you like and the trickis of course to cut the waffles that iskind of like the tricky part put them inthere in the iron it isn’t like a reallyreally heavy iron in this case becausethe dough is relatively firm it’s not adebtor so you need a little bit of poweron top of the waffle to make it nice andthin and it goes roughly 40 seconds tobake the waffle itself so and then I’mgonna cut them in Inhofe’s which is kindof like the tricky part of it becausethey’re already relatively thin andstill you have to cut them in twobecause you have to put the syrup insidewhich I actually have here in the postthat’s the alarm of the waffle iron soit’s done so dad is that’s the freshwaffle so you see it is really thinalready but nevertheless- it’s a little bit of precision job ofcourse because you have to make sure itdoesn’t break then of course then thesyrup would run out and so it is kind oflike a little bit careful but there wego – the two halves now I’m gonna addthe syrup so we put a good decent amountof syrup on it because of course that iswhat makes them so delicious you don’twant to be too drythere’s to be nice and sticky like thatyeah that is nice and now I have to addthe other half on top roughly as I cutdumb so like that turn into little bitsat the nice edges and that is done afresh Dutch table waffle so if you’rewatching and you are one of our Swisscustomers you can expect a few of themin your mailbox in the next few days andfor everybody else drop me a message ifyou’re interested in the recipe and wantto try it yourself for the holidays fornow bye bye see youstyle
