Aged Sumatra, my new favourite Nespresso coffee! I love it so much, I decided to add it in my homemade caramel sauce! The Limited Edition Aged Sumatra is part of Nespresso’s Master Origins range which features coffee from 5 different countries; Indonesia, Ethiopia, India, Nicaragua and Colombia. Each coffee has their own unique taste and aroma through different coffee craftsmanship from their country of origin.
Ingredients – Waffle:
280g cups All Purpose Flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
3 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon instant yeast
½ teaspoon salt
2 eggs separated
120g unsalted butter, melted
250ml milk
200ml buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Ingredients – Salted Coffee Caramel
70gm butter
300gm double cream
250gm soft brown sugar
Aged Sumatra espresso
1 teaspoon sea salt
