Ingredients:
– 1 cup Maida (All Purpose Flour)
– 1 1/2 tbsp. Sugar (Powdered)
– 1/2 cup Butter (chilled)
– 2-3 tsp. Water (chilled)

———————————————————————————————————

Method:
1. Take maida (all purpose flour) in a bowl. Add powdered sugar in maida and mix it well.
2. Now take the maida on a hard surface and add chilled butter.
3. With the help of a bread scrapper cut the butter and mix it with the maida. Keep cutting and mixing it till the butter and maida are completely mixed.
4. Now using your fingertips, once again, gently mix the maida and butter till you get the texture of bread crumbs.
5. Once you get the texture of the bread crumbs, add chilled water and bind the dough the together. Do not knead the dough, just bind it together enough so that the crumbs are not broken.
6. Keep mixing it gently till you get a texture of a dough.
7. Now wrap it in a clean wrap and keep it in the refrigerator for half an hour.
8. After it is rested in the refrigerator for half an hour, remove it from the clean wrap.
9. Dust some dry maida on the hard surface and gently roll the dough into a thin round shape. While rolling, if the sides break than just join them with your hands and keep rolling.
10. Once the dough is rolled, we have to transfer it in the pie tin for baking. If the dough is stuck to the surface than with the help of a knife, gently slide it underneath the dough and release it from the surface.
11. Now take a detachable 127 mm (5”) pie tin and transfer the rolled dough in the pie tin. If you do not have a pie tin than you can also take a normal 127 mm (5”) cake tin, but make sure to place a butter paper inside before transferring the rolled dough in the cake tin.
12. Once transferred in the tin, remove all the extra edges of the dough and gently press the dough to stick it to the tin.
13. Now with the help of a fork, poke the dough so that it doesn’t rise while baking, including the sides.
14. Place the pie tin into the pre-heated oven. Bake the cake at 180 degree celsius for 20-25 minutes.
15. Once baked, your Pie Crust is ready. You can use the Pie Crust for either a sweet dish, like Nutella Pie, or a savoury dish like, Exotic Vegetables in While Sauce Pie.

Note:
– You can also make small pies using the above method.
– With this measurement of ingredients, you can either make 2 big Pie Crusts or approximately 10-12 small Pie Crusts.
