Today is another installment of Baking with Braya! We are making Dutch apple pie from scratch with ingredients that are easily found! This recipe was so delicious and easy to make! I don’t like it when you’re really notnice to me hey everybody welcome back tomy channel life with breads fryer if youhaven’t already go ahead and subscribeso that you can see all my new contenton Sundays Wednesdays and Fridays todayI am super excited because we’re doingsomething that makes me so happy andtoday is another installment of bakingwith Perea and I’m so excited because wehave a really good recipe today we’regoing to be making Dutch apple pie myfavorite thing on the whole planetI’m not a cake girl I love cookies butlike pies especially when they have alot of crumble on topit’s like impeccable like I am soexcited so we’re gonna go to the storeand we’re gonna come back and we’regonna make a couple of pies and thenwe’re just going to a childtown I am so excited alright go aheadand give us this a thumbs up if you’reready to see some apple pie okay so weare now back from the store we have allof our ingredients we have some lemonswe have sugar flour brown sugar and awhole bunch of apples we also have somecinnamon and some ground nutmeg and wealso need butter so for this recipewe’re going to need 7 cups of peeled andfinely slice granny smith apples sowe’re going to peel these and then slicethem so that they’ll be ready to go intoour pie fillingso I got this recipe off the PinterestI’m going to link it down below this oneis pretty simple she believes all thelane gradients are usually found inDutch apple pies so this one doesn’ttake as long the most time-consumingpart is definitely killing the applesand slicing them butters or not itshouldn’t be too bad is there an easierway to do this guys because this istaking so long to kill these applesleave a comment down below if you knowthe way to peel apples faster anybody itdoes smell really good for the amount ofapples you need for this recipe it saystwo and a half pounds per high and tuneup tones is about like a medium sized apolice box eight personal and probablyabout like 10 to 12 so this is a mediumsized I think so we’ll just need abouteight of them by the way the tracker sowe decided to use is just the statedbrother just like normal generic brandbecause you lose the only ones that onenine inches you do need a nine inch piecrust and some deep this one so they canput a lot of filling in there and I gottwo and you’re supposed to just leave itout on the counter because it’ll befrozen when you buy it or close to justleave it all on the counter so that itwill get softer so that it won’t tasteweird once it over together now we aregoing to slice our operate so what I’mgoing to do is I’m just going to cut itin halfI’m just gonna slice it kind of thinI honestly think how you slice yourapples is totally up to your ownpersonal preference because I like mineI like to have like a nice big bite ofApple in my open pipe but if you kind ofjust want a little pieces because I gotokay so now all of our apples are shopsI’m just going to put them at all as youdid it make them super thin but prettythin I’m going to put them all into abig bowl and then I’m gonna cut up alemon because we need to have atablespoon worth of lemon juice and dumpthat on top okay so I have my tablespoonand now I’m going to squeeze out atablespoon of lemon juice I’m sure youcould probably use lemon juice that’slike in a like just in this squeezebottle by like fresh lemon better thananything too much so we’re gonna do thatI don’t really need 1/4 cup of sugar sohere’s the fourth cup I’m gonna throw itup with our hands sugared and then I’mjust gonna dump it all over the bowl ofapples brown sugar as welland now I’m just going to bow over itdoes anyone else think that brown sugaris like literally disgusting unless it’smixed into something like its flavoralone is discussing then we need threetablespoons of all-purpose flourthen we need a tablespoon of groundcinnamon so and I’m just putting thecinnamon on the apples and then we needa pinch of nutmeg so I guess this willbe a pinch and then we need 1/4 teaspoonof salt now we’re just mixing all theapples together with all of the sugarand flour and cinnamon cool so the Aquafilling is done but we have a smallerbowl and it is smaller Bowl we are goingto put it our store in such a cup offlour okay so in the recipe the ladysays that this makes a lot of extrastuff but that’s and if I start becausethe more crumbled of butter the piepretty much so a cup of flour 1/2 cup ofsugarthen I’m going to put a teaspoon ofcinnamon and then we’re also going toput in a half cup of butteroften are going to get your hands-freewhy would you leave your ring on so notjust I’ll take out here a next time okayso we have our topping it looks likethis just like crumbly buttery andsugary and then we also have our applefilling which looks like this we alreadyset our oven to preheat at 425 so we’regonna take out on pie crust which arenow nice and soft and we are going tofill it with layers of our applesokay and now we play our crest onalright and now it’s ready to go in theother and now it’s going in the ovenso it’s gonna be on a 425 for 15 minutesand then it’s gonna go down to 350 for45 to 55 min ok so I’ve just came out ofthe oven it looks like this if anyone’sreally good you can tell if it’s hardenon top but it’s still a little bit flakyI was careful on my tripped and burn andthe insides are all soft so we’re gonnasee how it tastes okay guys let’s trythis pie it looks so delicious I’ve gota thick layer of crust on top I thinkit’s gonna taste really good let’s takea break oh my godthis is incredible this tastes so butit’s so crunchy on top it’s soft in themiddlethe apples are just soft enough and notsoggyand those recipes will win what I willsay is depressed that it is in like theactual pie the actual pie crust and notmy favorite but the crust that I feel ontop the sugar stuff and the actual appavailing is to die forso I think the lesson here is make yourown pie crusteven though it adds like four hours onto the process oh my god is so
