[Music]hi guys welcome back to late last homecooking on today’s episode I’m going toshow you how I make my tuna pie it is soeasy to make first thing we’re gonna gomake the filling so it can cool downbefore we go make the actual dough forthe pie and for the feeling I’m usingtuna can i have drained the oil andwater whatever is in your can just drainthem completely and then i’ve got heresome chopped onion grated garlic orcrushed garlic green chillies choppedand chopped coriander fresh and then alittle bit of spices curry powdercoriander powder and cumin powder okaymy oil is heating it’s about 2tablespoon of I’m using sunflower oilyou can use olive oil or vegetable oiland the heat is over medium low and I’mgonna turn this on to high flame afterso for now we’re just gonna cook thisonion until translucent the oil is nothot enough that’s fine you can just addyour onion right now and we’re gonnacook this a little bit it’s been 2minutes you can see the onion is gettingtranslucent now add the garlic I createthe garlic you can just crush it or youcan just add garlic paste now we’regonna cook this for another minutestill the heat is over medium low addchilies spices now you wanna make surenot to burn the spices that’s why theheat is over medium lowwe’re gonna cook this really good forlike half a minute add your tuna are thechopped coriander necks when you answerto now you can turn the heat into alittle bit on medium-high if you wannacook it faster but he’d still have a loweven better nothing gonna like bonoanything all right now we’re gonnatranslate it off and gonna let thisfeeling cool and in the meantime we’regonna go make the dough and now we aregoing to make the dough and in this bowlI have all-purpose flourI have salt and to that I’m gonna addmargarine when I make pie I like to usemargarine instead of butter but you canuse butter that’s fine and over here Ihave one whole egg plus one egg whitebecause I’m gonna be using the egg yolkfor later to make an egg wash I’m notgonna use the egg wash with the eggwhite so not for this pie so this isbowl over here with the butter we’regonna mix the butter and the flourtogether first okay next we’re gonna addthe egg and we’re gonna mixnext I’m gonna add water you have alitter not much this is just warm waterregular warm water not crazy hotand then we’re gonna make the doughuntil you got a nice and smooth doughbut at the same time from naughty stickynow when we get this now we’re gonnawalk this dough in the bowl for fiveminutes and now the dough is ready nowI’m gonna go cover this and is going torest for just ten minutes and then we’regonna move to the next stepdoors resting for ten minutes and thatis enough and put some dry flour on yourworking surface now we’re gonna add I’mgonna put up there was a whole thinghere on the side so I can have more roomand now some more dry flour and nowwe’re gonna roll this with rolling pinI’m too lazy to go get my bigger rollingpin so I’m just gonna use a small oneand now we’re gonna roll this alright sowe are going to roll this into aboutlike quarter-inch thick and now justtake anything up all across anything soI find that this bowl is big enough forme to make the size of the pie so I’mgonna do this you need a muscle for themand now all these excess dough we aregoing to roll this again it’s not ascrub messed up feelings he is with tunayeah just like now we are going to foldit just like that and then press allaround it like a Halfmoon shape use afork and press the edges both side I’mgonna do the rest and then I’m gonnaarrange them on the baking tray in themeantime my oven is preheating 425degree Fahrenheitokay guys I have orange of the pie on atray you can see this is a big one andthis is the last one I have not used anycutter to cut this I just roll it andI’m just gonna take a fork and just putsome hole just in the middlenothing crazy just for the air to comeout from the pride okay and then eggwash I have already a little bit of methyou can just add water and now we’regonna brush this now you can see the eggyolk make a big difference instead ofadding the egg with the egg white it’snot gonna be that yellow the way on topof the the pie and now this is going togo big until you see those golden crustybeautiful color and then you know yourpie is done so let’s go basis and thenI’m gonna show you how it looks likethis beauty is this beauties took halfan hour exactly 30 minutes to bake andlook at how coaches they are and just totell you that these last ones the lastone is big so I know this has adifference compared to the rest so Ihave put so many those red chilies in itso that’s gonna be mine then I know thisis the one has a moisture is becausespicy is for mehope you enjoy this video with me guysthis
