How to make a Valentine pancake wreath part 1

hi everybody how are you today so todayI’m going to teach you how to make aflat as we call pancake wreath with justa few simple things you don’t have to goall crazy all wild out none of that sohere are my supplies I’m gonna go aheadand put this down so you can see allright so first things first we have ourside okay and what we did what I didwith the sign is I put some foam backingon this back and then I stapled the pipecleaners to it but make sure that youknow your state if my staples werereally long so that’s why you had to usethe foam so they didn’t come back acrosshere okay guys then we’re going to usethis ten inch mesh isn’t it beautifulit’s poly deco mesh okay it is availableon my website at Barb’s countrycreation.com we’re going to be usingthis checkered ribbon it is alsoavailable at Barb’s country creationscalm then we have some Valentine ribbonokay and then I have a wire framealright this is one it’s a 14 inch oneit’s from the Dollar Tree okay and whatI did is I took pipe cleaners and Imounted them on so you want to go eachof these and then you want to go in thecenter down here but you make sure youloop it around two of these to the railsall right because if not it’ll justslide everywhere all right so that’swhat we have so what we’re gonna dofirst is I’m gonna go ahead and I’mgonna move the frame for now get it upout of the way I hope I don’t have anavalanche cuz I gotta bust your buttjust project sitting over here I need todo okay so what we’re gonna do is let mefind my rotary cutterI found my rotary color all right okaygo ahead and take this this is somethingall right we’re gonna cut this onewackadoodle edge here nice I’m notafraid all right so by doing what I didI believe it’s twelve one two three fourfive right so I need 12 of these and I’mgonna cut them in 20 inches all right sojust take it right every color and cutit 20 inches but the first thing I’mgonna do is I’m only gonna do sixbecause that’s all I need to do it firstall right so I’m still gonna cut them in20 inches we’re gonna do six at a timefor right now and that gives us space towork all right so now what we’re gonnado is we’re gonna go ahead and we’regonna put these six on here so whatwe’re gonna do is we’re gonna pull thisdown like so all right kind of push itup that’s what I really do it’s six soit gives me room over hereokay push it up and we’re just gonna dolike you did when you were a kid in youbandit okay just like you were making afan when you were a kid try to keep itas even as possible straight line okayand then look what you got got yourselfa little bowtie okay so then we’re gonnatake this and we’re gonna go around thisbottom outer edge here and I’m gonna goahead and then we’re gonna take yourpipe cleaner let’s stick it up and we’rejust gonna pull nice and tight and twistokay twist a couple times and then youjust kind of spread this out and flatout okay see what I did theresee how it’s nice and flat okay so we’regonna go ahead and do that with anotherone same thing you’re gonna straightenthis straight out and we are going tocrinkle it up same thing try to do thisnice even as you can sometimes it’ll gocaddy wonka’s to try to stay with oneline where you’re gonna have a motionand again same thing you’re gonna openyour pipe cleaners you’re still gonna bedown here on the bottom row all rightsame thing in between the pipe cleanertwist and then just flatten it out alittle bit you can see okay so you’rejust gonna kind of fix itand flatten it out all rightjust flatten it out let’s see you seethat parts sticking up so you kind ofwant to just move around a little bitsee comes flat now all right and thenyou’ll see what’s happening is you’llhave another pipe cleaner you’re insidepipe cleaners are gonna be sticking upright here but what I do is I kind ofmove them down so they don’t get in mywayall right so getting the same thing heyguys and you can pause the video whileyou catch up I know sometimes I move alittle fast but you know I’ve been doingthis for a long time you can pause thevideo which is great about watching onYouTube and then just do it on your ownpace okay again you have this you spreadapart your pipe cleaner stick your bowtie there twist okay same thing take itspread it out you want to flatten it outokay just like soI’m working in a smaller area so I canhave you it’s nice and close you can seeso that’s why I didn’t want to cut all12 at one time okay same thing come herenow these wreaths are great not reallyfor beginners to do but these are alsogreat for those of us who have stormdoors or screen doors and you don’t havea lot of space between the two doors fora nice fluffy wreath so then you have toget yourself one of these or makeyourself one of theseand I also um you know I make big fluffyrace too but I thought you know I’llshow you this one here and we can gofrom there because I’m actually teachinga class on this coming up end of Januaryalright so again same thing justcontinue to do it a couple times and[Music]then just spread it out little guy wantsto turn it you got to watch sometimes itlikes to graball right and we got one more to do hereand we’re gonna go ahead and we’re gonnamove on okay final last one make sureyou do it nice and tight okay and thenthis guy goes here and this guy goesover here okay this guy’s this guy’s theone it lived he goes I’m here there hegoesall right so then we have put our littleguys up the top the inside rail ones wewant them sticking up so we don’t losethem within the mesh okay so now whatI’m gonna do is I’m gonna go ahead andwe’re gonna cut the ribbon all right sowhat we need is we’re gonna need somenice piece of wood I’m going to cut them[Music]cutting them 10 inches long okayso I would recommend that you get a nicesturdy piece of cardboard measure it out12 inches and cut it and then what youdo is just stick your ribbon on thereand then you just wrap it around simpleso I need 12 of these so we’re gonna goahead and cut all 12 of these at onetime because it’s easy to put the ribbonoff to the side so that’s to see there’sone here and there’s one here sorry Ikeep thinking like I’m doing alive soyou got one here and one back here sothat’s two and then just keep wrappingit around it’s a lot faster than youhappen to measure around each oneindividually okay this is like one ofthe best investments I ever invested itcuts back the time greatly really tightand then it’s really hard to get off andthat’s what I did I pulled it so tightthat I can’t get it off now but at leastwe know they’re exactly 12 inches rightguysall right let’s try to fix this up hereokay yeah like I said I just pulled ittoo tight okay there we gowe cut this straight across same thingfinger up there at the top get inbetween them that’s straight across justlike that okay and you can put themtogether okay I’m sure that they’re niceand straight and then we’re just goingto dovetail them like so okay same thingkind of just make them no edges are thesame and again Duff tell them when youdon’t tell you go from the folded sideto the free side okay and then you justcut that way okay from folded side toevery side all right so there’s our oneset of ribbons now our second set like Itold you we’re gonna have three but Ionly showed you to ribbonsso what I’m going to do is we are goingto do this instead of twelve of themwe’re gonna do 24 okay so again they aregoing to be 12 inches long I believe Isaid yes 12 inches long
