How to Cook Korean Food Simply and Easily: Tofu Pancakes (Dubu Jeon)

Hello everyone! This is HK. This is my tenth YouTube video. I hope you enjoy it. You do not have to go to a Korean grocery store to get the ingredients. You can get all the ingredients at an American grocery store. Make sure to subscribe, like, and turn on your notifications ^^!
Tofu Pancakes, called Dubu Jeon, are a good example of a tasty snack or side dish. You can eat this food as a healthy breakfast. It is not difficult to make the tofu pancakes at all. The food is very healthy and delicious; thus, Korean people really love it. You can try this! You won’t regret it!

Here are the ingredients and directions:

Ingredients
➢ 1 pound of super-firm tofu
➢ ½ cup of chopped bell peppers
➢ ½ cup of chopped green onions
➢ 3 eggs
➢ ½ ts of salt
➢ 1 TB of oyster sauce
➢ 1 TB of sugar
➢ 1 TB of sesame seeds (*optional)
Dipping Sauce (Special Soy Sauce)
➢ 1 TB of regular soy sauce
➢ 2 TB of White vinegar
➢ ½ ts of red pepper flakes/gochugaru

Directions
1. Crush your tofu with your knife.
2. Get rid of the water from the tofu (Use a cotton towel or paper towels).
3. Transfer the tofu to a large bowl.
4. Add the rest of the ingredients.
5. Mix well.
6. Turn to high heat.
7. Add about 1 TB of cooking oil.
8. Wait until the pan heats up.
9. Use a medium-sized ice cream scoop to spoon the batter onto the pan.
10. Flatten them down.
11. Wait for about 1 minute, or until the bottom gets golden-brown.
12. Flip them.
13. When the bottom is done, transfer them to a serving dish.
14. Enjoy them with the dipping sauce (special soy sauce)!
