hi good afternoon everybodyit’s time for cookie so this is whatwe’re making today I’m a little bitearly but I know I’ve got lots of newfaces today so I just wanted to come onand make sure you know we’regonna have a little award over at theend of all of this all the people thatcooked all the recipes sharing all doneamazing my Addison is a man I Stephaniefantastic I’m looking to see I know lotsof you exciting places about the countryI’m looking to see how glamorous friendsfrom Australia we’ve had and we’ve hadan altar with had Sri Lanka so if you’resomewhere really high they can I had todofantastic lots of you wanting to makecookies unsurprisingly today so this iswhat we’re making this is the earth theleftovers from yesterday how to put themon a plate so to my greedy family ofpeople and they are super yummy andthey’re very healthy cookies becausethey’re basically gluten free egg freedairy free all the rest of it howeverthey’re not nut free they have nuts itnot a really good view unless obviouslyyou haven’t got allergy which craterthis is not the recipe for you hi Elliehiso bein Harry again lovely and Arjunfantastic this is a really quick andsimple recipe today’s paleo recipe isgreat for anybody celebrating pasta ifyou can’t have any kind of gluten andflour at the moment it’s great forpeople obviously who is Celia we’retrying to cut down just don’t havegluten in their diet so I thought was areally nice one to do today so veryhungry this is Lauren’s e and we’ve gotMadison and lots of lots and lots of youI can see lots of thumbs up that’sfantastic so I’m just going to runthrough really quickly so for guys thatare new every week when you sign upwe’ll get the recipes that you shouldhave that but I’ve always run through itto start the class so this is what youneed I’m going to show you there acouple of substitutes that you can dotoday you’re going to need about ahundred eighty pounds of ground almondsthere’s not all don’t need to buyanything special so just in the whereveryou are in the supermarket usually inthe baking aisle I buy these they’rejust round almonds or in the nut sectionit’s going to be already asked andemailed in and said what if I don’t haveground almonds if you’ve got anythinglike whole nuts or flaked almonds likethis I show you these these are the kindof decorative ones you might see ondesserts and things you might have themat the back of your cupboard just give alittle food processor or if you’ve got anew triple er or a little smoothie mapleor something like that and just wirewith them are super easy super quick andif you don’t know almonds you can maybetry with a different nut this recipe Iwrote to be a kind of paleo recipe so Ican’t tell you if it’s going to work100% with other things normally I’d bereally relaxed about it and say give ita go but I know ingredients of a sodon’t waste anything so we’re going toneed some ground almonds that you canquiz your own if enemy’s dependent onoil or coconut office it’s very healthyalso it’s really fun because look at itit’s not a little bit alert it’s solidlook at I can tip it upside down it’swhy it’s not clear but if you don’t havecoconut oil then just sunflower oil or avegetable or something that’s quiteneutral and we’re going to melt thisbecause I’ll see this is solid littlebit of baking powder if you have but notterrible if you don’t some lovelyvanilla and if you’ve got a nice bottlethis is a huge one give it a big sniffmmm the ice cream doesn’t it hi you’reback for more Harry and onand at most those hellos Emme a step andthen a little bit of natural sweetnessthat we’re not using sugar I’m justgoing to use maple syrup if you’ve gothoney or something like that that’sabsolutely fine and then all mostlychocolate chips so the only ones that Icould get are these their dog shop orwhatever one as you like I think Donaldmilk of s because they show up better oncookies so rather than white but it’svery much up to you and if you don’thave chocolate chips and just anychocolate I’ve just got a bar ofchocolate like we use the other day I’mgoing to show you how you can cut thatup into smaller pieces as well so that’salso fine and that really is it reallyreally simple today if you’re workingwith the coconut all you’re going toneed to melt it so either just a littlegolden parade I’ve got a glass bowl herefor mixing behind so you all show you aminute and then I just got a baking trayI’ve got a lovely silicon mat but if youhaven’t got a silicon mat than just somepaper so let me just give you a shoutout while you get all of those bitstogether and then we will get startedyes wash hands I’m about to tell youthat the three things well run it whatare the three things we do we wash ourhands I’m going to do pop on that apronso will be readyto start one thing also to say to you isturn on your oven so they need to be on180 fan yep all right oh sorry 180 or165 so if you’ve got a fan oven it’salways like thatoh what a questionFrandsen Armand so what I would do isjust half the recipe ok so just use thehundred and it’s a bit more than recipes180 so often that would be 19 but justuse 100 oh ok so and now yeah and thenext you’ve got any fleek diamonds andstuff I was saying earlier and then youcan just whizz them up yourself in afood processor hold on it’s whatevergoes on the knots you can ride up aswell ok so I’m going to wash my handvery lightly right have you guys so farlots of smiles so we’re nearly ready Zacand then we’re going to get goingso right fiddling reason that’s alsofine lovely idea I like that one let meknow that chocolate chips in for a bitlater but they’re gonna fall togetherreally well and absolutely complete soI’m loving all the substitutions that isfantasticvibrating Andy and Rose hello no rightsand they put this up already so we canget started so I’ve got my bowl but whatwe gonna start my first is we’re gonnastart with these really lovely things hiErin Leo yo you’re struggling screamingingredients ok so let me just recapagain it’s a hundred and eighty grams ofground almonds about 60 ml of coconutoil or just regular sunflower oil orsomething like thatkeep turning around two tablespoons ofmaple syrup or honey 2 teaspoons ofvanilla a little bit of baking powderand some chocolate chips or somechocolate that will cut okay thundernibori as we go through it I’m gonnathat let me go so you will notice thatreally happy birthday happy birthdaythat is fantastic that means you get toeat all cookies okay I think we’ve gotmaize on here somewhere who’s eight sothat means maybe Getty hi Joshuahmmm oh and Ibraheem the fantastic now Iam going to use foot novels if you’vegot this as well it’s fantastic oil is awinged oil isn’t it as most oil is aliquid but this is super super hardso I’m gonna weigh it out pop it in mysauce pan and I’m gonna melt it here youcould put a little Bowl to put it in themicrowave whatever you want so we’regoing to turn our scales on and if youput stones like this that’ll be the sameso there’s a little on/off button andthere’s a liquid unit button so justturn it on check it on this one and ourtwo milliliters because we’re gonnameasure oil now the question is it okayto use normal hole with the skinsyeah just whiz them up so you’reabsolutely right ground almonds onlyhave the skins get off them the samewith plate ones so they won’t be quiteas white as mine when they come out asabsolutely fine just Wisma okay perfecso you’ll make a really nice crunchynoise just in the little blender and ifyou don’t have a food processor orsomething like this I’m a little coffeegrinder or a nutribullet or somethingsweetie maker anything like that willwork okay perfectwhat can I use instead of almonds thisis really a nut recipe so if you’ve gotany other nuts I would try that andmaybe hazelnuts or something like thatbut it’s not really a recipe you cankind of sub out for flour and somebodyasked me earlier about coconut flourI’ve not done it with coconut flour soI’m really lonely at the moment wheningredients are scarce to get you to trysomething that I don’t know worked 100%my feeling is it should so if you’ve gotand you want to try that then you can’tit and you’ve not got enough rel armsyou’ve advocated added some desiccatedcoconut give it a go and we’ll see itshould be coconut kind of quite similarand texture you want something that’sgot a natural oil to it and it’s goingto bind together so you’ll see when weget to the texture and if it’s not quiteright you’ll message me and I will letyou know okay and you only have butterit’s exactly the same that’s fine noproblem so you’re gonna need about 60milliliters okay or if your oil or yourstuff nowhow much is needed the same for myselfI’m a banana really perfect I’m justmissing my scales up to zero and then ifyou’re using coconut oil you’re going toneed to give it a big old scoop okay sowe’re using all of our wet ingredientsso if you’ve got the butter then youalso want to melt it like me so you cansee like that that looks really fun thisyou just pop it in then if you’ve gotreally hot pants what’s really fun youguys at home is take a little bit I’llshow you in a minuteespecially if you put if you’re cookingwith little ones so those of you thatalland the small ones you’re going to helplock hands and if you put a little bitin your hand you’ll see the magic wejust put this in here they cookwith a lot and actually they sell itbecause it’s so what left like this kindof in liquid in bottles and it’s justbecause it’s cold here at sex so we’regonna have the oil first and you mightas well know and a boil is not a solidis it it’s a liquid so we’re gonna startwith all of our necklace so you can havea look on the table in front of you ifyou’ve got out all your ingredients likeme and see what you need what else is aliquid so I’m going to start rightneedle either and Emily lots offirst-timers that is fantastic I’m justgoing to so I pick C and Ellie and funnyyou’re ready to rock and rollI’d love toI mean on so we’re gonna do 2tablespoons so this is really good forring so just always hold your spoon overthe bowl and we’re going to pour twowhen you can do some good counting ifyou’re using honey exactly the same sothere’s one and two we want to mix moreabout equus together really well firstthat’s to I love maple serviceyou’ve got Heidi you want to mix it abit better in a minute because honey isa bit thicker okay and if you’ve got anyhoney that’s set and obviously justmakes it fantastic Lisa you need 60milliliters of oil okay so we’veliterally just got the oil earnest about60 miles and a couple of tablespoons ofhoney honey or maple syrup so you cansee I’ve got maple syrup so it’s alittle bit Brown in there and then wealso need a couple of teaspoons now Ishould have said you might be fun iswhat we use with make tea so there’ssmall ones and tell you what spoon aswhat we have when we eat at the table sothen it works okay so we’re going toneed two little ones of vanilla so we’regoing to give a little squeezing anddrop that in we’ve got lots of brownstuff going on and a little squeezy andpop that in so that is what our liquidmilk makes you might see like that supereasy lovely everybody good and if you’vebeen sitting using sunflower oil you’vemelted you’ve already Sicilian hazelbutter has melted perfect so Michellejust pop your butter anything that’smelted in your goals everybody shouldhave a liquid in here now and thenyou’ve added in some of your vanilla andyou’ve added in some of your neighborsokay that’s all we do let me get thataway and then when we’re ready righthere and in a John and fell fantasticand Evie and Wakefield love having youguys enough to see you all fantastic I’mMadeleine and if I got there hi Abneyfantastic good this is a really and then we’re going to mash themin and we’re gonna see and whatever youlook at the people running so keepmashing you might just about it a bitmore it depends on the nuts as well howfresh they are but there’s nuts a quiteoily and when we measure oil and youknow and we’re not always 100% accurateso keep going with this do not worry andI’ll show you the texture that youlooking for in a minute hi alltogether it will kind of mostly be in aballso like that but obviously I’ve left afew minutes okay it’s your first timethat was amazing Carrie how’s it comingthis is a nice easy recipe hi I’m sayinghello here to MartinI’ll keep spotty and cocoa not sureabout that right my dough is spotty itis a bit spotty so this is kind of whatyou want okay on the pigs of coursepotty and Coco they look it with you nowyou’ve got a lovely wet ball that isabsolutely perfect so once you startsquishing it sometimes depending on theball the heat of your hands will reallyhelp it come together and you it won’tneed that liquid it will run away ifit’s a bit greasy like this is really noproblem and if it’s not coming togethernow with the heat with your hands youcan just add a bit more liquid maybe abit more syrup or maybe a bit more waterif you wanted to I’m just gonna checkthat everybody is kind of at this sortof stage and has it going rain that isfantasticbut I’m famili amazing and I want to sayto some of you this is lonely usual restpeople what I would do but a lot of youhave written in and said to me oh Ican’t cook that’ll be the grown-ups theyeven little people and what I went tosay toes is all about confidence in thekitchen that’s the first thing so I’mgoing to teach you and you’re going torockit’s and you’re ready up cause justcheck out all the amazing photos we’vegot any albums you got some don’t putchips in each one so they don’t openyour new to the moment don’t panicthey’re kind of like that when I’m justputting them apart because when we cookwith biscuits we have something normallythat I call kissing biscuits which isbiscuit to get bigger and bigger andbigger in the oven until they stoptouching and kissing each other andnormally that is the flour but we’ve gotknown flowers today so as long as youleave a little gap they won’t reallyspread so I’m going to put mine maybefour across on my tray well if you havefun plan or 60 mils again it’sabsolutely fine okay I’m currently is Idon’t know that’s Lily or Liathere’s my mummys spell the same way shepractically so and you and your brotherhave a shower you absolutely can yourtrap but I don’t know your brother’sname so it’s right and a brother is thatright okay yours this is over runningyou didn’t have enough honors so youneeded 180 grams of almonds okay if youwere doing less of a quince tea thenobviously you need to do less of theother stuff if you’ve got some moreRoma’s just brine them up even ifthey’re flaked or whole we’ve got someother nuts justwizard quickly in a processor have avacuum okay and right perfect so we allsquishing together so this is a reallynice one the little people have a bigpeople I think it’s nice and therapeuticand the most dangerous about this couldbe recipes you don’t want any hair it’skpechocolate chips so when you squish don’thave any chocolate chips wasted on atray make sure that they’re brought inthe dirt so I’ve got a lots of nice neatrows and I’m sure you have to ice I have the original recipe I printed out just like your mother’s and remember making it and sharing the cookies with family, neighbors co -workers and my husband’s a firefighter so I made another batch for his station(so they could take home cookies:) How about doing a video on the copy cat Mrs.Fields cookie recipe that was circulating.TFS

  9. A tip on grating those Hershey’s bars. Use the grate setting plate that comes with your food processor.

  13. This was really fun to watch! I discovered this recipe around the year 2000, not from the internet, but from a friend. She brought the cookies to work and I had to have the recipe. It was my go-to cookie recipe for years! My favorite twist was to leave out the nuts and swap the chocolate chips for M&Ms !
