hello world its Shannon and today I’m
going to be baking snickerdoodle cookies
without a recipe and without measuring
pores I’ve never done so I don’t know
how it’s going to turn out but I think
that whatever happens it’ll be
interesting so let’s get into it
[Music]
first up get you all ingredients as you
can see today I’m going to be using
butter cinnamon cream of tartar baking
soda imitation vanilla brown sugar sugar
flour and a whisk and a spatula second
step get a bowl and wing it so I think
we’re gonna start with the butter I’m
just gonna like start unwrapping them
and putting them in the bowl here all
four of them and that’s gonna make one
cup of butter which seems about right
since I’m gonna wing it okay so I did a
thing off-camera
I tried to kind of mix the butter and
then I was gonna like have a cool
transition but it just didn’t work out
so now we’re using my fancy-schmancy
electrical mixer right here to get the
job done
they’re just gonna be adding a little
bit of vanilla okay using the cap
doesn’t count as a measuring tool
because I’m I’m still a balling it this
is not an exact science guys well it
kind of bends but still okay I’m kind of
like having a mental struggle because I
don’t know if sugar goes with dry
ingredients you’re not I’m gonna go for
it we’re good we got this we’re just
gonna like have a spoon to control the
flow honestly not sure what this is
supposed to be but we’re trying really
hard I made a mistake I really do okay
so I definitely I had time to consider
my decision and I really regret putting
the sugar in the butter as you can see I
feel like that was a really big mistake
but you know what what’s none is done so
I’m just gonna add the brown sugar in
there anyways and see what happens
there we go that smells really good well
I’m just gonna like add that bad boy in
there I feel like only a little bit cuz
the regular sugar covers most of that
probably like 1/3 yeah that seems like
okay I really regret my decision this
was bad okay I knew sugar met with the
dry ingredients why why would I do this
why why would I do this

struggling I really am yeah that looks
kind of like batter like if I added
flour and egg that Bible would be fine
all things considered it’s not going
that bad do this
a lot of flour gonna rest feel like for
cookies and supposed to feel like the
same amount of flour that sugar or more
or less I baked all the time why don’t I
know this okay I feel like I added a lot
of fun but you know it’s fine okay now
I’m just gonna go ahead and add some
cinnamon um I’m just gonna like control
the amount that I add in there with a
spoon it doesn’t kind of measuring guys
it doesn’t count and how looks like
enough okay yeah I’ll get back to you

see we’re doing very good and you know
what it’s fine because everything’s are
all gonna end up at the end

okay so once we’ve told this bad boy I’m
gonna set the oven for 375 degrees I
mean I don’t have a recipe to go by but
we’re gonna hope that’s enough again
we’re just winging it but I think that
if we got this far with the dough that
we thought we can do good for baking it
okay so now I’m just gonna take off my
pad now I’m just going to take off
little pieces of the dough and form it
into a bowl as usual and I made a little
sugar and cinnamon deal over here that
we’re just gonna dip them into for the
top of the cookie and put it on the pan
like so

okay I’m gonna pop these guys into the
oven for 10 minutes around I want to see
how they bake but I’ll get back to you
when they’re finished

okay I’m gonna chef’s not gonna lie I’m
a chef these are actually really good I
mean for eyeballing it I’m really proud
okay so at the end of the day I thought
that these were really good I could not
stop eating and considering that I had
in a recipe and no measuring tools I’m
pretty proud as I said before so thank
