How to make cookies… how much of each ingredient do I need to make 16 cookies?

These are my own invention… invented when I took the wrong ingredients to school to make flapjack…

This recipe makes 12 cookies, how much of each ingredient is needed to make 18 cookies? What about 20 cookies? Comment below.

[Music]okay so today I’ve mentioned that wouldbe doing some recipe stuff and I’ve saidabout doing my my cookies that Iinvented whilst at school by taking onall the real ingredients so and they’remixing them together in getting this nowremember what I did and I said to meyour eights that I was to do it well I’mgonna do a demonstration I’m gonna showyou exactly how to do it and exactlywhat it is so coming up on the screensomewhere there will be the recipe soonso here it is recipeokay so first you need a mixing bowlthis is well you lose the mixing bowlbut it’s clean clean mixing bowl youneed some wayne scales and you needfirst of all some flour so this is selfraising flour as you know this goesintervener we need four ounce so fourounce self-raising goes into the rulecan I say I’ll get level with it to makesure your not quite enough for hoursno not quite four ounce of self-raisingflourthere we go forward onto self raisingflour good job so have a look 4 ounce ofself raising flour brilliant nobody thatis in the bowl then we got four hours Ohsugar same thing same place don’t needto tell you the thing out cause it’sgoing to the same bit so sugargranulated sugar these fine chunkingthem some reason never mind it does muchit all makes for a nicer feel thatprobably up to the four ounce thingagainOtakon next we need four ounce of oatssome reason I’ve got Quaker Oats so ifmr. Quaid wants to buy me some new onesQuaker Oats four ounce same again allgoals in that same Bowl as I said alsoit’s not very difficult to do rightthat’s the dry stuff okay so give this astir to this all mixed in make sure anylooks about you sugar also knocked outnever mind you’ll know is it just becomelike a flowering or tea sugar mixturewatch my arms before start in this andyou should have washed out runs toothere we go so that’s the first bit nextbut you need a pan so I’ve got the potand you need it here for ounce of booksand I’ve got some slightly salted but tobe fair they’ve got much sugar into thebody was salted unsalted or you can evenuse my journey he was measuring beforewhen haven’t that sugar so any of thator ounces of tear got no that’s enoughI said I have watchbands make sure you Iwill she owns guys a little bit morethan that and a little bit more this isquite actually absolutely phonics – its- he’s gotta know so that’s before I’mstill hooked to that house it’s my pondnext in my pack I need 1 tablespoon 1tablespoon of golden syrup so that looksa little bit like thisso I said one tablespoon I meant to andI mean heaped tablespoons like you cankind of eat themtake a look he said look over there wego then it goes so it’s nice and goldensyrupy this is the desert one it shouldbe the actual golden syrup but obviouslywe’re in lockdown and I can’t get out toget anything this actual golden syrup soit’s not as sticky as the other stuffit’s still nice and it still works andthink you also need the tablespoon ofwater so it have some cold water I’mjust going to dip it in a tablespoonfull and tip that in as wellall important for the mixture you’ll seeI’ve got water and goal assert andbutchering that let’s take it to thehopper there we go and I’m going togently melt the butter not cook itI just want to melt it whilst this ismelted so I’m gonna probably gentlystrokes while he while this has meltednow we’re gonna put the oven on toaround about 200 degrees just under Ithink I think use me gasps Matt fivegasping people love him anymore and sowe’re going to be melting this as youcan see it’s now sized melt and mix withthe golden syrupso melted with the golden syrup looksreally neat if this was smellivision itsmell like a lovely golden syrup abutcher a flavor that’s quite niceyes white nice see[Laughter]it’s time to melt my butter back to thebutchery golden syrupy with salt no thiswas a secret ingredient next one that Iactually put in while at school byaccident I think it was got to be bakingpowder in my subjectI’m not essentially I can’t reallynumber and we do you have any of that soI talk as I said earlier to a lot ofdifferent things that were very similarso this time took some bicarbonate andsoda so what we’re gonna do is put ateaspoon of bicarbonate soda andobviously pops off and as soon as itdoes we need to pop it straight up someboiling it’ll need to boil it I need toput on a teaspoon of bicarbonate of sodathat is bicarbonate of soda and then itgoes it all stops is you know just doneit in a very pretty finish as you cansee to things like a bit of a froth seeoverokay so the mixture you’ve already doneright mix it in to your mixing bowl intothe mixer you’ll know if you startgetting a really gloopy gloop big loopykind of doughy biscuit mixyou keep going until it’s all mixedHolly you see it’s my stomachlack of it to the cookie dough andthat’s what I wanted because after allthese cookiesthat’s Waldo itself my daughter lostwheat so luckily she’s gone out for thispeople it’s why the cameras come stillyou’ll see it’s a nice cookie dough atight mixture make sure it’s all mixedinmake sure all the bits off the spoon aswell remember how I wash my handsnumerous times while doing this and youneed to keep doing that whilst you’redoing it next we need to grease somebaking paper baking trays okay some ofthem they’re basically just blue beneaththe butter now you need to make sureyou’ve got some nice clean hands onceagain as I’ve said wash these handsloads and loads and squash them againand then you pick up the mixture and youfarm it into a little ball about thesize of a golf ballright like that they roll around yourhands and press it pop it in your bowland do the same and keep doing it -you’ve got a ball you make sure so aboutthe size of a golf ball press it nowdon’t put them too close togetherbecause they’re going to spread apartabout the size of a golf ball press andin I may put these tool close togetherbut never mind the golf ball press soit’s like a little bit of a party andput them in maybe see how many it makesnice put it in obviously not what causescontrol about half the size of my golfballs yeah but I’m about the same so Iput six in one tray no they got look onetrade upbut should I’ve got all the rest of makesure that I’ve actually got some thatdries on the sticky the next one golfballs left on a ball but imagine youhave another batch so potassium poundgolf ball sizejust the devil’s got the speed because Isaid it took offhonestly these biscuits are amazing I’msorry this mixture I’m tempted I’m notgoing to I think I’ve made 12 just aboutme twelve and I’ll be how many I’mmaking I reckon I find the one hopefullyI can get one out of this I think I’vegot some little bit bigger than othersnever mind this one around the ball makesure I’ll just like the small golf ballbut it’ll do for the last one so I’veactually made 12 biscuits now to put theokay so we’re going to put them in theoven round back I’m gonna put them onthe middle of the oven so I canbasically see them through the windowput them in and close the door and about10 15 minutes they’ll be readyyouokay so it looks like they’re done[Applause]that’s it for about ten minutes as youcan see the volatile quitethey like a golden your own colorwhat you no need to do is put them on atray or somewhere to cool until theyflatten down a bit they’d open theminute that reason up a bit and theywill flatten back down so we just needmake sure you don’t burn your handsbecause the tray will be hotwe need to get them out and they’ll be abit soft at this point I really likethese because they’re like a flapjackwhich is what they were supposed to bein the first place make sure I made 12cookies think about that think aboutthese this is more like what the coolershould be there should be around by thisobviously no depending on how big um atthe golf ball-sized what 12 cookies so12 cookies in total 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 1011 12you’ll notice that they are agolden-brown color leave them to callwhat
