hey everyone I just want to say happybirthday to everyone who’s having abirthday during this quarantine in thisvideo I’m gonna go over what I think arethe best quarantine birthday cakes Ireally want to help you celebrate thefirst thing you need for a quarantinebirthday is soap to wash your handseveryone wash their hands wet washingyour hands with your friends on a zoomcall oh that’s life that’s yeah whowould have thought I never thought inall my years of cake decorating that Iwould cake a giant bar of soap and thatyou guys would love it so much butthat’s how it worked out woohoo I love Ilove dolloping batter I really lovedolloping and marbling batter I wantedto make like one of those old-schoolsilk bars that look kind of marble so Ibaked the cake to reflect back[Music][Applause][Music]oh I’m also marbling my fondant which isreally really fun but the most importantthing to remember when you’re marblingfondant is you want to roll out like Ilike to Marble it then cut it and thenroll out what was the inner part of themarble because sometimes from theoutside you don’t get to see all thestripes it creates and if you over mixyou kind of erase the marble[Music]the hardest part of the soap cake was metrying to figure out how to make soapfoam without putting soap on the cake soI’m glad I thought about milk foamI used my milk frother just like youwould make yourself a cappuccino but Ijust frost the milk and I dyed them outslightly slightly pink before I frost itand then i steamed that on to make ahave your soap and eat it too so whenthe world was like everyone wash yourhands I was like already washing myhands you know what I mean I’m like ohyou guys didn’t oh you didn’t know okay[Music]next up on the quarantine birthday-cakelist is my funfetti cake I love thiscake media I really love this cake thiscake to me screams birthday the cakeinside was funfetti it had rice krispiestreats disks on the inside that also hadsprinkles and it was like alternatinglayers of funfetti cake rice krispiesand then different color buttercream[Music][Music]I want to know what kind of what yourbirthday’s been like leave a commentbelow are you having a zum birthday hasthere been a birthday parade in yourhonor like I want to hear all thecreative ways that you’re celebrating[Music]and I also love that when I iced it youcould still see xposed rice krispies soand this cake is like you can make itsmaller and just like yeah I mean Ialways say that I call the mega cakesbecause I always make them at a megasize but if you made it half the size itwould still be delicious[Music]on the sugared marshmallows all thesugared marshmallow it’s so fun likewhen I made that cakemy first thought in my head was I wish Ihad this cake when I was a little girlthat was my first five oh I know you’vegot all kinds of texture and crunch inthe cake from the sprinkles in the caketo the rice krispies and then you havethe creamy velvety Italian meringuebuttercream and then of course you havethe sweet sugary marshmallows it’s Imean it is a win really hope you guystry and make this cake it’s so good andit’s so good to eat the next cake on thequarantine birthday cake list is mychocolate peanut butter mega cake oh mythis week was so good you can actuallysee me drooling in the video it is evenwhen I look at it and everybody wastexting me telling me they wanted itlike on the crew yeah Connie won becauseshe got it in firstlook I hadn’t even removed the cake fromthe pan and I got a text from Connie Iwant two chocolate peanut butter okayokay this cake is so delicious because Imean chocolate and peanut butter arelike a match made in heaven and in cakeform with all different types ofchocolate and peanut butter it’schocolate cake peanut butter Blondie’sokay which is like a brownie but notbrown and this one infused with peanutbutter and salted peanuts and then onthe inside I have a ganache and peanutbutter frosting which together tasteslike a peanut butter cup and then it’sjust it was so quarantine birthdaycakes list is giant chocolate-chipcookie cakes and I love them because Ithink they’re the perfect novelty caketo start with the carving is not intenseit’s not a lot of cake I really reallythink you can do it and it’s so yummyyes it’s a great beginner and I’ll TKabsolutely yeah it’s it’s really I meancookies bake in all kinds of ways so youcan’t get it wrong it’s vanilla cake andI bake chocolate chips inside thevanilla cake so it tastes like achocolate chip cookie the carving isreally simple you just want to createlike little valleys and sort of makethis the edges a little bit thinner likea cookie and cut away all thecarmelizationand then I ice the cake in a thin layerof ganache so more chocolaty flavor[Music]the other great thing is I use myfavorite color ivory to color thefondant[Music]and I intensified the color with Coco Ipaint the surface with cocoa powder soit’s really a really a lot of fun andeverything I use is tasty and becausethe fondant can be rolled so thin sothat you can create creases and myfavorite part is that Hershey kisseslook like giant chocolate chips I knowthey’re so cool looks amazing it’s justit’s such a great cake and you canpersonalize it you can use you knowcolored chocolates or put big walnuts init whatever kind of cookie you like[Music]

  7. Hey Yo! I would recommend using cake strips so you don’t need to cut off any caramelization or level the cake. Unless of course you like eating the cake humps.
