hi everyone my name is jenna bender itis
and today i’m going to be showing you
all how to make my favourite chocolate
chip cookies cookies are sable delight
they comfort us in times of need they
join us in times of happiness and when
we’re having a bad day but they’re to
make it a little better
cookies bring us joy and they taste so
dang good so let’s learn how to make
them today I’ll be showing you the
process that’s pretty simple it’s just
four easy steps prep mix bake and enjoy
so let’s get into it first things first
though is to make sure you wash your
hands now I’m going to go over
everything that you’re going to need
you’re going to need two mixing bowls a
baking pan something to mix with two
sticks of butter 3/4 cup of sugar 1/4
cup of brown sugar two eggs a teaspoon
of vanilla teaspoon of salt a teaspoon
of baking soda two cups of chocolate
chips and two and a half to 2/4 cups of
flour and a hand mixer or stationary
mixer if you have that and of course an
oven which leads me to my first step
which is preheating the oven to 375
degrees ok and we do that first it takes
a little time to heat up so now let’s
get mixing we’re going to mix our dry
and my ingredients separate because they
the dough makes a mess when you do them
separately and then combine them later
on so we’re gonna add our tuna fourths
cup of flour our salt and our baking
soda
your headaches that until everything’s
combined well then you’re going to move
on to your wet ingredients so first
thing you’re gonna add your wet
ingredients are your two sticks of
butter your white sugar your brown sugar
and your teaspoon of vanilla
then you’re gonna mix it using your hand
mixer for the purposes of this video I’m
not actually going to turn this on but
you’re gonna beat all these ingredients
until smooth and there’s no clumps left
but once that’s completely beaten you’re
going to take one egg at a time and
they’re going to add it to the bowl
after each egg you’re going to be until
it’s completely mixed and then add the
next so now that all your wet
ingredients are together you’re gonna
slowly add your dry ingredients this
again is important to get the best
texture of dough for your cookies so
what I like to do is add about 1/4 to
1/2 a cup of the dry mixture at a time
and it’s just an estimate and you just
add a little at a time and then you
would beat and then add a little more
until this is completely gone then
you’re gonna fold in your chocolate
chips it’s important to fold the
chocolate chips in because the dough has
already been mixed so much so you don’t
want to over mix it so you go ahead and
just add your chocolate chips in and now
I’m going to show you guys what the
dough should look like so this is what
the dough final dough should look like
as you can see the chocolate chips are
evenly dispersed and it’s ready to get
put on the pan so what I normally do is
take about a spoonful of dough and place
it on the pan like so and the pan is on
greased and it all just depends on like
the size of your cookies I would say
ballpark around two tablespoons worth
and you want to give them an inch inch
and a half room in between each so that
they don’t spread into one another while
they’re baking I’ll just do two for the
example and then you’re gonna pop them
in the oven
your let them cook for nine minutes or
until golden brown look like you’re
gonna let them cool for two minutes and
then you can serve them that’s the final
product so this recipe is great for
parties dinners are just for fun and
it’s a really quick and easy way to make
some delicious cookies so let’s recap
our steps first we’re gonna preheat the
oven mix our dry ingredients mix our wet
ingredients combine your wet and dry
ingredients together fold in the
chocolate chips and bake pretty similar
process but I love to answer anyone’s
questions that they may have yes I’m
sure the butter be at room temperature
or completely melted you can do
either/or but I would recommend just
room temperature to get your dough to be
a little more fluffy but it just depends
on what you like yes so why is this
shirt considered a dry ingredient so
sugar is considered a dry ingredient
because sugar needs liquids to dissolve
so that’s why we add it with the wet
ingredients so if you were to leave it
with the dry ingredients the cookies
would be really chewy so it’s a personal
preference as a how you like your
cookies but I don’t like my cookies
chewy so I keep them with the wet
ingredients any other questions
No all right well thank you so much for
listening to this presentation today and
I hope you all learned a little bit more
on how to make chocolate chip cookies in
a pretty easy way now I just asked you
to go make some yourself thank you
thanks Jenna
