Ingredients :

White bread/ brown bread – 4 to 8 slices

Besan – 1cup (150 gms)

cheese slices 10 peices

oregano seasoning 1tsp

Capsicum- ½ cup (finely chopped )

Boiled green peas 1/2cup

Black pepper- ¼ tsp

Salt-(as per taste )

Chili flakes or green chillies

Baking Soda – 1/4tsp

Oil- For frying

How to make bread veggie cheesey pakoda :

 

Take 1.5 cup Chickpea flour.Add little water to it and prepare a batter thick in consistency and dissolve the lumps nicely. Then add more water to make thin batter and mix thoroughly.Once the thin batter is ready, add spices such as ½ tsp salt and ½ tsp oregano, 1/3 tsp chili flakes (made from 2 dried chilies) and mix it well. For making this much quantity of batter we have used 1 cup of water.
Keep the batter aside for 10 to 15 minutes to set.

To prepare stuffing for the pakoras, take a slice of bread layer some cheese over it, followed by some finely chopped capsicum and finely chopped onions ,boiled peas
Take ¼ tsp black pepper powder and ¼ tsp salt. Mix both the ingredients.Sprinkle the salt and black pepper masala over it and some oregano too. Layer some more cheese and spread out evenly.
Take another bread slice and spread some cheese slices Place this bread over the stuffed bread slice and press down gently so that they stick together.Cut the bread into four chunks. Likewise stuff the rest of the slices as well.
15 minutes are over the chickpea flour batter is ready, add 1/8 tsp baking soda and mix well.
Heat enough oil in a wok for frying the pakoras. Pour a drop of batter in the oil to check if it is sufficiently hot. If the batter floats immediately over the oil , the it is rightly hot.
To coat the pakoras, lift one piece of stuffed bread and dip into the batter.Then drop it into the oil. Flip the sides and fry the pakoras until they get golden brown in color from both the sides. Pour the oil over the pakoras too. Once slightly roasted from beneath, flip the sides.
The pakoras are roasted and ready, take them out from the wok. Likewise fry the remaining pakoras as well. Place the pakoras in a plate over a tissue. It takes 3 to 4 minutes for frying pakoras at once Super yummy and lip smacking bread pizza pakoras are ready. Serve them with green coriander chutney, tomato sauce, mustard sauce or any other dip as per your desire.Steaming hot bread pizza pakoras are really tasty.
