My Adorable Italian Grandma Making Bread in the Basement

This is the quintessential Mother’s Day video. My grandmother, who was in her 90’s when this was recorded, makes bread while my cousin captures the process. She does this in the basement of her house (so many Italians have a second kitchen in the basement!) with help from her daughter Fannie, now 97 herself in 2020. The video is peppered with little gems like, “You want a meatball?” and “How can people be so god damn lazy!” You will love this adorable little lady making so much bread! Note that “a half a cup,” means half of a 32-oz ricotta container.
