HOW TO MAKE PIDE BREAD / RAMAZAN PİDESİ

THIS IS A VERY TRADITIONAL PIDE BREAD, THAT IS SERVED AT RAMAZAN OUR FASTING PERIOD.
IT’S AVAILABLE ALL TROUGH OUT THE YEAR, BUT FOR SOME REASON IS ONE THAT IS PRODUCED AND BOUGHT ESPECIALLY TO GIVE TO OTHERS AT RAMAZAN.
HERE I SHOW YOU HOW TO MAKE IT YOURSELVES AT HOME.
INGREDIENTS
1 TABLESPOON OF DRIED YEAST
HALF TABLESPOON OF SUGAR
1 CUP OF WARM MILK
1 CUP OF WARM WATER
3 TABLESPOONS OF OLIVE OIL
1 TEASPOON OF SALT
THEN JUST ADD IN FLOUR COUPE OF TABLESPOONS AT A TIME, MIXING IT UNTIL YOU GET A VERY SOFT STICKY DOUGH,
LIGHTLY DUST WITH FLOUR COVER AND LET IT REST TO PROOFING FOR 2 HOURS.
ONCE IT HAS RISEN AND RESTED FOR 2 HOURS TURN IT OUT ON TO YOUR WORK SURFACE KNEED IT GENTLY DIVED IT EITHER INTO TWO OR THREE PIECES, OPEN EACH PIECE WITH YOUR HANDS EITHER INTO ROUND OR OVAL SHAPE, COVER WITH A CLEAN TOWEL AND LEAVE TO REST FOR FURTHER 30 MINUTES.
THEN INTO A SMALL BOWL ADD IN 1 EGG YOLK,
2 TABLESPOONS OF MILK
1 TABLESPOON OF OIL,
MIX IT WELL AND WE USE THIS MIXTURE TO BRUSH ON TOP, BUT FIRST WE NEED TO SHAPE OUR BREAD, SO DIP YOUR FINGERS INTO THIS MIXTURE, AND PRESS DOWN TO CREATE A PATTERN AS I SHOW YOU IN THIS VIDEO, ONCE YOU MADE YOUR PATTERN THEN BRUSH THE TOP, AND ADD POPPY SEEDS.
PLACE IN PRE-HEATED OVEN AT 200 DEGREES FOR ABOUT 20- 25 MINUTES UNTIL GOLDEN ON TOP AND ALSO AT THE BOTTOM .
