How to bake BANANA BREAD

Just when you think that your very ripe banana is close to being spoiled, you can turn it to a very moist and tasty BANANA BREAD.

3 very ripe banana
1/3 cups melted unsalted butter
1 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch of salt
¾ cups sugar (1/2 cup if you would like it less sweet or 1 cup if more sweet)
2 Large egg, beaten
1 Teaspoon Vanilla extract
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
4 table spoons Nutella (optional)
1)     Pre-heat oven to 350 F (175C). Butter and line a bread loaf tin with baking parchment
2)     In a large bowl mash bananas until smooth and stir in the melted butter
3)     Mix in the baking soda and salt
4)     Stir in the sugar, beaten egg and vanilla extract
5)     Fold in the flour and stir until all mixed
6)     Pour half the batter into the tin
7)     Drop 2 tablespoons of Nutella on top and swirl into the batter (just swirl to spread around don’t mix) (optional)
8)     Pour remaining batter into tin
9)     Repeat step 7 (optional)
10)  Bake for 50 minutes to 1 hour or until tester inserted into centre comes out clean
11)  Remove from oven and cool completely in tin on a rack
12)  Remove banana bread from tin. Slice and serve – a bread knife helps to make slices that are crumbly.
