hey guys today we’ll be cooking withgourmet steak dinner with layin agedpotato and roasted broccoli first thingyou need to do is cut up your onionsyouonce you’ve finished cutting up youronions microwave your potatoes for 5minutes make sure to do one-minuteintervals so your potatoes don’t explodein the microwavenext cut up your potatoes don’t worry ifthey get a little smashed they don’thave to be perfectyounext add bacon grease to a flattopskillet put your onions and potatoesapartnow I add a little sprinkle of freshlyground pepper and a little sprinkle ofsalt and if you’re laying these potatoesget a little dry just add a little stickof butter just to make sure that theystay nice and moist for the broccoli youwant to add some extra virgin olive oilbut more than you think or it’ll comeout dry some freshly ground black peppera sprinkle of salt and some garlicpowdernow it’s time to put your broccoli inthe oven at 4:20 for about 10 minutesmake sure to flip your broccoli abouthalfway throughnow it’s time to season your steak formy steak I use ribeye just add a littlesprinkle of salt to each side make sureyou get it nice and coated then you’regonna want to let it sit in the fridgefor about 15 to 20 minutes covered justto make sure that the salt seeps intothe meat then you’re gonna add garlicpowder and freshly ground black pepperto each sideyouafter about five minutes you just wantto flip your broccoli so it doesn’t getburnt on one sidenow it’s time to cook the steak add alittle tab butter to a hot pan then getyour steak once the butter is melted andlay it on therethe stakes should cook on medium-highfor about two minutes so you get aperfect medium-rare two twigs of freshrosemary and some dried thyme on thesideafter about a minute and a half addanother tab of butter just so the steakdoesn’t get dryyouthen flip the steakafter the butter is melted start bastingtop of your steak don’t be afraid toreally get in thereyouafter the 10 minutes is uptake your broccoli out of the ovento make sure the steak is done use ameat thermometer in the thickest part ofthe steak it should be around 140degrees next for the O’s you use half acup of red wine let it simmer down andget all that good old Fond off the panafter it’s reduced a little bit add asprinkle of salt and some freshly groundblack pepper let it simmer for a littlewhile then you want to add half a cup ofbeef stock whisk that it around for alittle while make sure you get all thatgood old fond off the pan you don’twanna leave any of it left behindlet it simmer on medium low heat forabout five minutes or until it’s reducednicely after that you’re just going tostrain it make sure to get all thatrosemary and dried thyme out of your O’syouyoulook at that that’s liquid gold now it’stime for the taste testthe steak was super tender and prettyeasy to cut too and it’s a perfectmedium-rare now it’s time to dip it inthat owes youoh my god that’s so good I even had someof my family tried my sister littlecamera-shymy mom was not camera-shybut it turned out delicious
