Chewy, gooey and a crisp edge… just the way you like them!
Chewy Cookie Base (Makes about 12 large cookies)
1 cup butter, melted
1¼ cup brown sugar
¾ cup white sugar
2½ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
Cook 375 Fahrenheit 9 minutes
Stir the flour, salt, and baking soda in your mixer bowl.
Separately, whisk both sugars, melted butter and eggs. Make sure the butter isn’t hot, as you don’t want to scramble the eggs!
Add the wet ingredients to the dry in a mixer, or by hand, until fully combined. Chill the dough for 2 hours before scooping.
Add any flavoring ingredients and combine. Don’t over mix, as this can damage the flavoring ingredients.
Using a quarter cup scoop measure scoop the cookie dough base into roughly 10-12 cookies.
