welcome back to my channel and today isa lovely day wanna know why cuz yeahthis is one of my favorite dishes okaywe are making the best copy-cat Roscoe’schicken and waffles recipe for theirwaffles okay my husband and I go to Calievery other year and Roscoe’s is thefirst stop on our trip okay this recipeis a labor of loveit is spot-on I got it from Monique acreMonique who rhymes because can cook foodblog and I use her recipes all the timeand I do not change a thing I do as I’mtold and it comes out perfect so let’sthis is my spread this is what we havefor breakfast this morning and I’ll adda link to the other recipes we have andso this recipe is very particular okaythis is a labor of love that is worthevery single step okay and the quickestway to sit is obviously using thissifter which I paid probably ten dollarsand I got it from Amazon and so I’ll addthe link in the description but if youdon’t have one there you go a handour school sister would be the samethingI am also adding in a tablespoon ofbaking powder teaspoon salt and twotablespoons of sugar you just sift allyour dry ingredients together this doeslook like a lot of flour but when I’mgoing through this much trouble becausethey freeze beautifully okay so I’m justnow making a well and the middle of theflour mixture into that I am gonna beadding I milk mixture which is acombination of half a cup of buttermilkto two cups of milkyou know just pour that into the wellthat you made and start my apologiesthat’s actually one cup of milk again Idug them up my recipe but make sure youget that correct now I’m adding 1/4 cupof vegetable oil 2 teaspoons vanilla and2 large egg yolks okayand then to the bottom left you seethose withbut just for the initial battery you’rejust gonna now I am adding in half a cuphalf a stick of butter and just allbetting again this is going to be atexture recipe so don’t worry about thelumps so set that off to the side andnow I am just beating the egg face sothe purpose and I think this is the keyto the recipe is the egg whites when youwhip these up it’s all about balanceright so again I am just whipping thesein the stiff peaks that’s okay and I’mgonna keep going okay cuz I want to makesure that so that my waffle comes outflappy crispy so after that with them Iam just now folding in those egg whitesso I can do not use a whisk and I use afork this is a folding method again thatokay so follow them and again thisbatter is going to have texture so don’tworry about any types of lumps but whatyou’re just trying to do is make surethat those egg whites are fullyincorporated into your batter that’swhat it should look like right there sonow I am heating up my I use about athree and a half and this is a classicwaffle iron okay this is not a Belgianso again we are doing a copycat ofRoscoe’s chicken and waffles waffle andso make sure that you’re using that inwaffle iron which are available onAmazonthat’s where I got mine I will add alink to the description it makes adifference just to achieve that Roscostyle waffle you want to get the beingplastic kind but this recipe also goeswell for a Belgian I’ve made Belgianwaffles using this recipe and they’rejust as good but you know it’s notRoscoe’s okay so here you go look atthat job golden crispy waffle and so I’mjust putting it on my cooling rack andsetting it asidedon’t stack them right away because youdon’t like to start getting soggyso I’ll just keep making waffles andthen I’ll stick them into the oven justto get a little bit of crisp when we getready to eat but you see I’m pacing backand forth is not my gift okay it smellsso good in there and I was ready to eatokay just want to crawl in between thosewaffles I’m taking themthese are spot-on so good Thank YouMonique you know please don’t forget toclick that like button also hit thesubscribe and your notification bill sothat you can get first notice of when Ipost my video it’s mean to my channelwelcome welcome welcome and thank youall for watching see you next time bye
