How to Make Super Easy, Mega-Tasty Sourdough Waffles

Super Easy, Mega-Tasty Sourdough Waffles

Don’t discard your leftover sourdough starter, make waffles!

½ cup leftover sourdough starter
1 cup milk
2 tbsp melted butter
1 egg
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tbsp sugar
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt

Add starter, milk, melted butter and egg to a large bowl and whisk together until well combined. Add the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk again until smooth.

Pour or scoop into a hot waffle iron sprayed with cooking spray.
Repeat, and eat!

Makes 3-5 waffles depending on your waffle iron.

Recipe from one of my fav sourdough books, Artisan Sourdough Made Simple by Emilie Raffa.
