How to make perfect sugarfree waffles for babies & children with yeast water – easy & tasty recipe

Today I will show you sugar-free waffles that are not only tasty, but are also suitable for babies and children and are of course made with yeast water.

Today it’s again: yeast water for everyone! Everything your baked goods desires.

You asked for a sugar-free waffle batter and of course I am happy to comply. They are really delicious and if you want it a little sweeter, you can add a little powdered sugar or chocolate sauce.

By the way, this recipe is again a perfect use of leftovers from our yeast water. I took the fermented dates from this and froze them over and over again. This makes the waffles really good for your intestinal flora.

500g flour
150-300 g date puree
2 tablespoons of honey
1 pinch of salt
100 ml yeast water
2 eggs
250 g butter
375 ml of milk
the pulp 1 vanilla pod

Put the flour in a large bowl and now add all the other ingredients. With butter, it is best if it is at room temperature. Mix everything into a homogeneous dough.

Now leave everything covered at room temperature for up to 8 hours. However, this is not absolutely necessary as the natural yeast will not rise in any case.

By making the dough the day before, I only added the butter shortly before baking, as it was in the fridge and the dough would otherwise have been too hard.

Now grease your waffle pan with a little fat and pour a ladle of the waffle batter into it. Once the waffle is golden brown, it is ready to be consumed. You can decorate them with a little cream, hot cherries, a chocolate sauce or powdered sugar as you like.
